Immerse yourself in the flavors of Tuscany with a Chianti Farm Cooking Lesson. Learn traditional recipes, use fresh ingredients from the farm, and dine amidst vineyards and olive trees.

Duration: 4 hours
Cancellation: 1 day learn more
Highlights
  • Via dei Cofferi, 12 - The cooking school will start around 10:30 in the morning, but not before we have gotten to know each other, talked a bit, and perhaps taken a short tour of the farm property where we can admire our olive grove and the field where I grow saffron. Then, together, we will learn to make homemade pasta, using our herbs from the garden and our extra virgin olive oil. We will also learn how to create different pasta shapes (tagliatelle, ravioli). I will teach you how to prepare the dough to make bread and Schiacciata and how to have many different recipes from this very versatile dough.
We will prepare a complete menu including appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes and dessert and we will sip some good local wine, perhaps a nice Chianti from the area!
Then after cooking if the weather permits… we will enjoy lunch outdoors in the garden overlooking the vineyards and olive trees immersed in the nature of Chianti… there is nothing more relaxing and satisfying than enjoying the peace and the tranquility that the Tuscan countryside can give us!! Our farm stands at the top of a hill surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and 360 degree woods, therefore an oasis of guaranteed relaxation!!

Additional Information

This is an interactive cooking class where the participants are directly involved in the cooking process. It’s not just a demonstration, the attendees will get hands-on experience. The class focuses on straightforward traditional recipes that can be easily recreated at home. The class is held on my farm where I produce saffron oil, grow a variety of vegetables and raise chickens. The ingredients that we’ll be using are extremely fresh, most of which are produced on the farm. If the weather allows, the class will be held outdoors overlooking the beautiful vineyards and olive trees and we’ll dine al fresco on the dishes we’ve prepared. Otherwise, the class will be conducted in our barn. The farm, located at the top of a hill, is an idyllic escape from the noise, traffic and pollution. We also accommodate requests for vegetarian meals.

Highly recommend - Beautiful scenery, great company and even better food/wine! It can get quite warm on the terrace and it’s approximately a 4 hour experience, but I would definitely recommend!

Perfect cooking class overlooking beautiful Tuscany hillside - This cooking class was amazing! My boyfriend and I were looking for an authentic and unique cooking class with a beautiful view of Tuscany and this checked all the boxes. We cooked focaccia, two pastas, a side dish, and made dessert all while outside and enjoying the beautiful views of a Tuscany hillside farm. The hosts are a wonderful couple who made us feel like we were at home. They offered us their delicious wine as well. This was a 10/10 experience and would highly recommend!
