Great tour guide and even better sights! - This was such a cool tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared some cool lore about Iceland. He was also very kind and willing to adjust the schedule depending on weather and what we wanted to see. Snæfellsness Peninsula has so many amazing spots so it was great to be with a tour that went to the best of them. I traveled solo and met other solo travelers from around the world, it was a very cool experience! This is a very long tour and often with stops 30min from one another. There’s a decent amount of walking and getting on/off the bus so be ready for a long day!

Fall day away - A full day out on the peninsula! We made several stops. My favorite was the 2 natural bridges on the northern side. The waterfalls and volcanic black sand beaches were also great.

Great day very complete - Twelve hours non-stop crisscrossing the west of Iceland. The guide is not stingy with explanations, the stops are many. Special congratulations to the young driver for whom the day must be long.

The tour itself was... - The tour itself was wonderful, but what truly made it phenomenal was our guide, Sara. She was funny, engaging, and kept the entire group entertained while also sharing fascinating information about Iceland. What made it extra special was how she wove in Icelandic music that perfectly matched the stories and places we were experiencing. The tour was long with plenty of driving, but it was absolutely worth it for the stunning sights and the chance to learn along the way. Thanks to Sara, this was a definite 5-star experience!

Lovely trip! - Beautiful scenery! This tour is a great way to see a lot of sights in a short period. The weather was cold and windy but no rain, so we were able to do all the stops. A couple were disappointing - no harbor seals at one of the beach stops, and the lava fields were underwhelming - just a bunch of gray-black rocks in a field. The black-sand beach, Kirkjufell, and the stone arc were amazing. The guide was knowledgeable but seemed a little sleepy or unenthused, but I’m grateful he didn’t babble at us or play awful music on the ride back when we’re were all tired. Tip: the scenery while traveling is much nicer if you sit on the right side of the bus - where most of the mountains are. I also recommend doing the smaller-group tour (in the van) as a big bus with a huge crowd of people could get dicey, given the large number of stops.

A bit of a disappointment... - A bit of a disappointment because it rained all day & the cloud cover was low. Our guide was very knowledgeable & educated a little on the geology of volcanos. Fascinating!
