- Kirkjufell Mountain - The most photographed mountain in Iceland. Also one of the highligts in Snæfellsnes peninsula. Kirkjufell or the Church mountain got even more famous when showed in Game of Thrones - under the name Arrowhead Mountain.
Our stop is by the waterfall - fantastic photostop towards the Kirkjufell mountain as well as to the sister mountain with the old bridge in the front. Such a magistic place.
- Saxholl Crater - This magnificent crater Saxhóll is something you dont want to miss. Freestanding from the surrounding lava fields give those who climb the stairs to the top beatiful view over this part of Snæfellsnes peninsula.
Green moss, red lava rock mixed with black lava and the white glacier on one hand and the Atlantic Ocean on the other is the reward from the top.
- Djupalonssandur Beach - Djupalonssandur, another gorgeous black sand beach where the Atlantic waves pounding the sands. Surrounded with dramatic lave fields, rocky formations and Snæfellsjökull glacier in the background.
When entering the beach you will notice four stones. Here you can test your strength like fisherman did before. Are you fit to become an Icelandic fisherman ?
- Arnarstapi - The charming fishing village of Arnarstapi has been described in many ways - “most beatiful natural harbour” - “fantastic coastline” - “the walk was something else”.
- Budakirkja - An iconic landmark here in Snæfellsnes surrounded by amazing lavafield and a black sand beach on one side and Snæfellsjökull glacier and the mountain range on the other.

Snaefellsjokull National Park & Glacier - Jules Verne made Snæfellsjökull glacier famous with his novel “Journey to the Center of the Earth”. On this daytour we are driving around the glacier, seeing him from different locations.

Ytri Tunga Beach - One of very few places to spot seals in West Iceland and by far the best one. It is difficult to say if the seals here at Ytri Tunga are more curious or the people watching them.
On a sunny day they can bee seen laying on the rocks relaxing and enjoying the sun and on a windy day more oftern swimming so close to the beach that you feel youy can almost reach out and pat them on the head.
- Snæfellsnes - Driving to and from Snæfellsnes + driving between the places is 5,5 hours. Then 1 hour for lunch and toilet stops
