Amazing night - Wasn't sure we would get to see the northern lights due weather conditions. We had a few nights in Reykjavik and the tour worked with us to take us on the next good night for veiwing if we were still available. And what a fabulous night it was. The northern lights were spectacular. Heimir, our guide, found the perfect spot to see them. I took so many photos. Heimir took photos of each of us with the northern lights and sent them to remind us of this spectacular event. He had hot chocolate, tea and snacks for us to enjoy. The experience was amazing.

BEST Iceland Aurora guide! - Heimir was transparent in communications, responsive and on time for pick up. So incredibly knowledgeable about the aurora borealis and was more educator than tour guide- although he was a fantastic host with hot chocolate and snacks. So dedicated to having our group see the lights on what appeared to be a low chance night for viewing. It was a long night and we are grateful that he stuck it out with our group instead of calling it a night at the estimated “end time.” Thank you so much!!!

Amazing time with our passionate guide! - We had a great time with Heimir, who is super passionate and knowledgeable about auroras, and his enthusiasm and energy really made the tour really fun on top of seeing beautiful auroras. He answered our questions and gave us some great advice for future aurora hunting. He found the best possible places for us see them, places with low light pollution and possible areas to view. We went when there was heavy snow and not everywhere was plowed, so finding a safe place to park and without trespassing in the dark, I'm happy to have a guide take care of all of that for us. Heimir took fantastic photos which we will cherish forever, and also helped us take our own photos with our phones which became a fun challenge, taking a great photo of the aurora. We were given traditional Icelandic snacks including some festive season ones which were delicious. And even hot chocolate, perfect for the freezing temperatures we had that night. Aurora Experts are a little pricier than the average northern lights tours but I think they were worth the expense.

Epic Northern Lights Excursion - Where should I begin??? EVERYTHING was perfect - the weather as the skies were clear; the small group tour vs the large group buses; our knowledgeable guide; serene desolate location where Lady Aurora danced for us; the copious amounts of snacks; and the beautiful photos we received post adventure! I enjoyed ALL of it!

If you want to see auroras Heimir is the best!! - Heimir is a real aurora hunter, going with him is like being in the tornado movie! It is amazing how you know where to go from one point to another, super friendly, super attentive! Besides it helps you with your photos and how extra he takes amazing photos! Takes you chocolate, snaks and everything you need to go super comfortable on the tour! The truth to an experience you can't miss!

Fantastic Tour! - I would highly recommend this Tour! Our Tour guide was so nice and friendly and so knowledgeable about the northern lights..and thankfully we were lucky enough on our night to see them and they were spectacular we got our photo taken with them and he had sent them to us in no time aswell.. also the hot chocolate was roasting and delicious as were the pastries,chocolates and dried fish,an easy 5 stars for this one I'd give more if possible!

Trip cancelled on the day- communication could have been better - Our trip was cancelled on the day due to not enough people booked on. These things happen so fair enough. I did contact them to see if the trip was operating the next day but I didn’t receive a reply. Communication could have been better. In fact it was very difficult to contact the company directly without using the Tripadvisor app.

Hugely disappointed in this tour operator, our tour cancelled was cancelled first night & no offer of another night - Hugely disappointed in this tour operator. I understand that trips may change due to weather. But we booked this tour the first night we were on a 6 day trip. Hoping if we booked the first night and did not see the nothern lights, we could see them another night. So first night - trip was cancelled due to weather, which was fine. But no offer AT ALL to try another night. Just they were fully booked. So NOT what they are advertising - of ''we offer unlimited re-runs until you see the lights'' A refund was issued - though this was $30 less, due to exchange rate. We were there over new year so this may have impacted what they were doing, but when I asked if we could book another night - I simply got no response. We did end up paying for another trip with a different operator - costing us more money, as it was last minute - and we did end up seeing the Northern lights, on new years day, which was a once in a lifetime experience. Just not with this tour operator.
