Amazing Super Jeep Tour - We had an amazing private Super Jeep tour with Jon as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Jon was the best! He took us off the beaten path and personalized the experience for us. The sights were amazing and it was a day we won’t ever forget. Highly recommend!

Outstanding Super Jeep Tour - What an amazing day out in the super jeep. We had a private tour. Our guide Palm worked the tour around what we wanted to do. He made us feel comfortable and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. Of course crossing the rivers was extremely exciting.

Best day in Iceland! - Amazing trip and stay with Midgard Adventures! The adults did the super jeep tour and the younger set did the day hike. Both experiences were incredible - knowledgeable and skilled guides, breathtaking views, and delicious lunches. Highly recommend.

Unbelievable views - Alf was the best guide! You can tell he loves the history of his country. His passion showed through! He was funny too! Beautiful sights we wouldn’t be able to see from the road without the super jeep. I would suggest that you consider dividing ther tour to one without the hiking in the forest. It was very difficult for me and most of the group. I would still recommend this to anyone coming to Iceland to see spectacular views! A glacier and remnants of a volcano!

Super jeep tour into Thorsmork - Great tour into the Thorsmork area, in a super jeep (which is a nice experience in itself). We visited a remote black sand beach, took a short hike into a stunning canyon and some caves, visited a glacier tongue (I believe it was at Eyjafjallajoküll) and took a hike in the forest. The (optional) lunch box was nice. Rest stops at the Seljalandsfoss/Gljúfrabúi waterfalls allowed for a quick visit to those as well. It's an open tour, so the stops might differ depending on the weather and the guide's preference. Valdi was a great guide with fun stories and a good sense of humor.

Great tour and wonderful introduction to one of the most beautiful areas of Iceland - We had a wonderful tour guided by Anna, Highlights were the hikes to beautiful views and waterfalls, and learning about the area and Iceland from Anna. We opted to have buy the packed lunch which was delicious and plentiful. Extremely enjoyable! Also a shoutout to Olga for her great help in arranging the tour.

5 stars for Carlos and Midgard! - We had an amazing trip with Carlos. His stories were captivating and he made the trip enjoyable for everyone of all ages. He has a ton of knowledge of both the landscape, iceland history and folklore, and the vehicle he was driving. His trusted truck Freya as a fun ride through the Thorsmork valley.

private super jeep tour -- highly recommend! - I highly recommend Midgard's 4x4 Thosmork tour. We had a group of five -- a 6 year old, two parents, and two adults in their 70s. Helmut did a fantastic job of catering to our abilities, and he knew the area like the back of his hand. We really appreciated his caution and willingness to pivot when conditions were questionable, and we were grateful to see an area that would have been otherwise inaccessible to us. We also enjoyed having a local guide who patiently answered our questions about life in Iceland. The vegan and gluten-free lactose-free lunch was delicious for this omnivore. Someone in our group bogarted all the awesome trail mix and now I'm going to have to try to recreate it. Do yourself a favor and buy some at basecamp. It's a great place to have dinner or happy hour too!

Super Jeep Super Fun - Had an amazing time on this trip! Carlos, our guide, was awesome and we enjoyed hearing his perspective as a newcomer to the island and why he chose Iceland out of all the countries in the world to raise his family. The Super Jeep was super comfortable and we couldn’t believe the rivers it crossed without a problem. We loved the invigorating hikes and the dramatic views they afforded. We all agreed that this was our favorite excursion in Iceland.

Perfect, wonderful and highly recommended ❣️ - It was a wonderful and perfect organized tour. I normally don’t like „tourist tours“. But this one was extraordinary and not with a to big group! Would not hesitate to do it again. Perfect equipment (as a car engineer I instantaneously had fallen in love with this super jeeps)-how good this option was we learned at the way back as a bus got stuck in the water. We had no problems crossing it… The leader did a very good explained an interesting tour - a warm thanks to him again! We did some small and interesting hikes which I didn’t expect like this and liked very much!! And thanks to the whole team! Finished the day with a wonderful meal at the restaurant. I definitely will ever remember Midgard❤️!
