- Thorsmork - Here in Básar campsite, we can sit down for lunch you can eat what you bring or buy meat-soup hotdog or some snack in a little shop in Básar and then we can hike if you are up to it.

On this exclusive exploratory jeep trip, we’ll make our way to þórsmörk from Hvolsvöllur, tackling numerous river crossings along the way. We’ll pause at gígjökull, taking in its splendour and observing the effects of the 2010 eruption on the region.
The journey will include a hike into stakkholtsgjá (canyon), followed by a visit to básar for a leisurely stroll. Our Þórsmörk expedition offers a thrilling day of river crossings, car rides and hikes in gorgeous scenery. However, should hiking not be your preference, we have the option to merely drive around and admire the surroundings.
