We first drive around the base of Hekla, one of the most active volcanoes in Europe. The route then takes us through captivating, contorted lava flows that have emerged from a myriad of different craters and fissures.
After a Laugarhraun lava field hike, delicious hot spring bathing offers a uniquely pleasurable experience. Remember to bring your swimwear if you want to take a dip in the natural hot spring.

Excellent tour Landmannalaugar - We had a great day. The tour was well organized, our guide Mike gave a lot of information and was pleasant company. The tour took us to a very beautiful area, nice walk and on the return trip along waterfall, gorge and crater, top! Thanks!

Superb Tour! - Absolutely superb trip into the Highlands. The Super jeep was a great experience as it effortlessly tackled the challenging terrain and river crossings. Ingvar was a fantastic guide and everything was saw was absolutely stunning, including some unexpected locations on the return journey.
The Basecamp is a superb place to start the tour and the food in the restaurant afterwards was delicious.

Landmannalaugar - Fantastic tour - Fantastic trip! One of the best experiences in Iceland. Our guide, Gunnar, was absolutely fascinating. He, as someone who serves in a rescue and rescue team in these areas, knows the area like the back of his hand. He really lives the environment. And of course, the area is beautiful and special.

Hiking - Thanks to the expertise of our guide we were able to visit the site and go on a breathtaking hike on a day when the weather was rough and have an amazing day!! The staff was very welcoming and everything organized properly. Good group too!

Wonderful - Wonderful activity. The guide was funny ,explained and knew everything we asked. The area is very uniq a lot of colors. The price is high but worth it espechialy for people that didnt take a jeep.

A personal tour of Landmannalaugar - Fantiastic tour. The super keep is a really fun experience. Our tour guide Anna was amazing, she gives a unique experience each time. “Sometimes she forgets things and sometimes she adds things” you will enjoy it. The hike is lovely. Do visit Midgard base camp for dinner. Lovely staff, great food and cocktails.
