Southcoast Adventure super jeep tour with Ingvar - We took a super jeep tour with Ingvar Hafberg at Southcoast Adventure in Hella, Iceland this week. Just me and my boyfriend in the car which made it more special. Ingvar was a great driver & guide, telling us all about the route up, the glacier itself & surrounding areas. This was our first ever trip to Iceland, made memorable by this trip, especially as we didn't really know what to expect from the super jeep tour, nor what to expect from going on a glacier. The super jeep was incredible, and the drive was just as much fun as being on the glacier itself. The conditions were incredibly clear, even Ingvar was surprised, so we had a good time going round different parts of the glacier & mountains in the super jeep, and eventually we got to climb the peak of the glacier to see incredible views! Ingvar provided us with crampons to help with the quick peak climb, and although I was quite scared of what seemed to me like a very vertical climb (it only took a few minutes but I'm a bit of a chicken), with the help of my boyfriend we made it to the top with Ingvar! He was even happy to stop along the way for us to see the views/take photos etc. Thanks to Southcoast adventure, and specifically Ingvar for an amazing trip - definitely recommend!

Super tour with Superjeep! - Totally recommend tour with Superjeep! Guys from Southcoast Adventure are very organised, friendly and experienced. We went to Eyjafjallajökull and Thórsmörk area. How is it possible that this kind places exist?! 😋 Amazing landscape even in the winter time! We had sunny weather all day. You can expect great atmosphere, bumpy ride and lot's of fun. At the end of the tour we had lunch at Volcano Huts - very tasty!

An amazing experience....highly recommended - This tour was the overall highlight of a few days spent being amazingly looked after by the Southcoast Adventures team. We were really lucky to have great weather for the whole of our trip but especially this day. The views from the top were breathtaking and it was so peaceful. With only 4 other people on the tour it was almost like having a private tour. Hilmar was a great guide for this trip...his experience, knowledge, friendliness and humour made it a really enjoyable day.

You get what you pay for.....and more!!! - As a family of 3 with a teenage son this was the highlight of our trip to Iceland. Our guide Hilmar was excellent, very knowledgeable and humble maintaining the safety and interests of our group throughout the day. If you have spikes for your shoes I would advise taking them in your bag in winter periods in case you have the opportunity to take a hike, also pack some snacks. We would like to thank Hilmur again for such a fantastic experience. :)

A really worthwhile investment - Like everything in Iceland the price hurts! But we had an amazing and truly memorable time. I don't know if we were just lucky or our guide Stefan had the best route, but nobody else was on the glacier. It was awesome and we'll never forget it. A little bit stuck in the powder snow, but our guide took time to explain the techniques he was using to get us through which added to the enjoyment and adventure. Don't leave Iceland without getting into the highlands - and you can't do that with a rented car. The waterfalls and beach at the end were a bonus. So... just plan to spend a lot for an amazing and unforgettable experience!

Cool views but not worth the price. - Very cool views. But tour did not communicate well re the length of the tour, need to bring food and water and limited bathroom facilities en route. Wouldn’t do it again.
