Perfectly planned, from start to finish - We had a great day with impeccable planning by our guide, Said. His deep historical knowledge made a big impression on all of us. Our driver Ahmed was super prompt and well planned with the pickup, and ensured we had plenty of snacks and water at just the right time all throughout the day. Would definitely recommend it!

Engaging and fun tour! - Great trip and tour! Ahmed picked us up in a mini-bus at our hotel. He was a really kind host, offering drinks and snacks. There where pillows to be used for napping, the bus also had wifi which was easy to connect to. He drove us to the first tour stop, where our tour guide Said took over. Really good and engaging tour in English from Said! I could highly recommend this trip and tour!

Best excursion ever! - Amazing day with amazing driver and guide! Ahmet arranged the trip perfectly, he was very reliable and it was a really comfortable experience in the mini bus (wifi, tv, snacks, drinks, pillows, chargers). He made sure we had everything we needed. Our guide on the sites, Said, was incredible. He was knowledgable, friendly and reliable - everything you could wish for in a guide. I would highly recommend this experience!

Must do! - We had a superb time on this experience. We were picked up exactly on time in Makadi, were FIRST to Luxor out of all tourists and Ahmed went above and beyond during our journey. Lots of drinks, food and entertainment to keep us going. We stopped when needed (remember low value cash!) and we’re entirely comfortable throughout. Once there, we had an excellent time at all stops. Our English speaking guide was Said, who had an encyclopaedic knowledge of Egyptology and answered all of the questions we asked with grace, patience and a delightful manner. A personal highlight was the Valley of the Kings. Trust your guide’s opinion. It will be tempting to try to see Tutankhamun’s, but it is one of the smallest and not worth one of your three tomb visits. Instead, Said recommended Rameses I, IV and IX, which were all breath taking. Said also told us the story of the architect and Hatshepsut whilst at the temple and this adds to the beauty and magnificence of the sight. Absolutely excellent. On return, Ahmed made every effort to get us back on time and succeeded. We were home well before dinner. Enough time to have a quick nap and enjoy the rest of our evening. It was my wife’s 30th birthday and we could not have asked for a more excellent experience. Thank you. P.S. - this isn’t to do with the tour company, but the sights as a whole. There are a lot of locals that will pester to take your photo or ‘tell you an interesting fact’ for a tip. Be mindful to ignore them or be firm with your ‘no’. Anything they say won’t be half of what your expert will tell you!

Definitely do it! Achmed and Ishmael are the best! - The day tour is definitely worth it. You can see many cultural cities in Luxor. Our German speaking tour guide Ismael was absolutely great. Super nice, took care of us and explained everything flawlessly. Also the drive from Hurghada to Luxor was just great. Our driver Achmed picked us up very early (4:00 in the morning) but that made us the first in Luxor. No crowds at the sights! 5 stars!

An unforgettable day trip to Luxor – highly recommended! - An unforgettable day trip to Luxor – highly recommended! Our day trip from Hurghada to Luxor was a real highlight of our holiday – and we owe this mainly to Achmed (our driver) and Ishmael (our guide). We started early in the morning, and thanks to the perfect planning we were always there at all the sights (Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, etc.) before the big tourist rush – we had the places practically to ourselves! Achmed was a very safe and reliable driver, always punctual and friendly. Ishmael inspired us with his knowledge, passion for Egyptian history and pleasant humor. The handling was always respectful and warm. The tour was much better overall than we expected – professionally organized, very personal and absolutely stress-free. Clear recommendation for those who want to experience Luxor in peace and with competent accompaniment!

Incredible VIP tour, must do!! - The day starts off early but is worth it, this is to get the early convoy from hurghada to luxor. Here we were welcomed with complimentary drinks and a lovely a/c bus by the driver, charging USB on board for anyone to make sure you don't miss a picture. Ahmed the driver was great, good humour and ensured everything was set up to and during the drive. From our hotel pickup we were taken to luxor via a rest room break if needed. First stop is the Temple of Karnak, by getting picked up early we were the first trip from hurghada meaning no waits and straight to meeting our personal guide Asaid. He was extremely friendly and ran the whole day without fault. We were able to go round the various sights at the temple with good local knowledge. We spent around 2 hours here. From here we took a short drive to the boat onto the Nile, we did the extra admission for an extra 40 minutes trip. We got to see more of the Nile and surrounding sights on both sides were would recommend the extra for a few more sights. We then went to a restaurant on the side of the Nile for some lunch and a drink, which the drink was extra but only 100 Egyptian pound for a coke. Food was buffet style with plenty of choice. The valley of the kings was the true highlight, here we had a small buggy ride up to the valley and we were given the choice of tombs but we went with the recommended ones by Asaid. KV16, Ramases I is the the deepest and despite being steep it is worth it. From the valley a short drive to the temple of hatshepsut. On the way ice cold water offered and we were more than glad for it. The temple is extremely impressive set over 3 floors. Our final stop was at the alabaster factory. The small display set on was extremely friendly and with a funny twist. Here they showed how the made it by hand. We were given a free drink while we looked, we bought a little souvenir of our trip. We would highly recommend this tour, we had the private tour with just the two of us for a very reasonable price. We can't thank them enough as we had the best end to our trip.

VIP Tour Luxor Day Tour from Hurghada, small group - We had the pleasure of being the only couple on this tour and met Ahmed bright and early at 4.30am in our hotel reception. He skilfully got us to Karnak before the rest of the tourist buses and out of the heat of the day. There we were introduced to our guide Said, who stayed with us for the reminder of the tour. Both Ahmed and Said are extremely knowledgable and very courteous. My partner and I had been feeling unwell with a stomach bug and Ahmed went above and beyond to find us the proper medication. Said’s knowledge of all the sites visited really helped our experience and he picked the three best tombs for us to visit. We had an enjoyable visit to the Papyrus shop and a very entertaining visit to the Alabaster factory. Ahmed ensured that we had a variety of soft drinks, water and snacks to keep us going. I couldn’t praise Ahmed and Said enough and would give this tour 10 stars plus if I could.
