The day tour from Hurghada to Luxor, I can’t recommend it highly enough - The tour was organized for a very small group just six of us which made the entire experience feel almost like a private tour. It was the perfect balance between comfort, personal attention, and shared discovery. The journey from Hurghada to Luxor took about four hours each way, but the drive was smooth and comfortable in a clean, air-conditioned mini-bus. Our driver was professional and friendly, and we felt safe throughout the trip. What really made this tour exceptional was our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about Egyptian history, and had a way of bringing ancient sites to life with fascinating stories and insights. His explanations were detailed and engaging without ever feeling rushed or overwhelming. He patiently answered all our questions and adjusted the pace of the tour to suit our group, allowing us plenty of time for photos and breaks, especially important as one of us had some mobility issues. We started with the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple, followed by visits to the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, and the beautiful Temple of Hatshepsut. Each site was unique and powerful, and the small group size meant we never felt crowded or hurried. We even had time for a lovely lunch in a local restaurant, where we could relax and enjoy some authentic Egyptian food. What I appreciated most was the personalized touch our guide truly cared that we had a meaningful experience. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt included and engaged. By the end of the tour, it felt like we were traveling with friends rather than strangers. Visiting Luxor has always been on my bucket list, and this tour exceeded all expectations. If you're looking for a deep, well-organized, and memorable historical tour from Hurghada with personal attention and expert guidance, this is absolutely the way to go. I would book with this company again in a heartbeat.

Day trip to Luxor from Hurghada - Our day trip to Luxor from Hurghada was absolutely incredible, From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and stress free. The early morning pickup was right on time, and the comfortable, air-conditioned minivan made the long drive feel easy. Once we arrived in Luxor, our guide was waiting with a warm smile and an impressive depth of knowledge. Every stop from the Valley of the Kings to Karnak Temple, Hatshepsut’s Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon, was brought to life with fascinating history and stories. Being in a small group made the experience even better, as we had plenty of time for questions and photos without feeling rushed or crowded. Lunch by the Nile was delicious and relaxing, and the optional Nile boat ride was such a peaceful bonus! The entire day was packed with highlights, but it never felt overwhelming thanks to the smooth pacing. This trip was easily one of the best parts of our Egypt vacation. My trip from Hurghada to Luxor with Hurghadatogo - The journey was seamless and filled with awe-inspiring discoveries that left a lasting impression. The private transfer was extremely comfortable, offering a luxurious and stress-free ride through the mesmerizing landscapes of Egypt. The convenience of being picked up directly from our hotel in Hurghada made the experience even more enjoyable. Along the way, our driver was both professional and courteous, making sure we were well taken care of. Upon arriving in Luxor, we were greeted by our knowledgeable Egyptologist guide Mr Yasser, who was nothing short of exceptional. His passion for Egyptian history and culture was infectious, and he provided captivating insights into each site we visited. At the Valley of the Kings, we marveled at the intricate tombs of the pharaohs, The Temple of Karnak was another highlight, with its colossal columns and detailed hieroglyphics. Having a private guide meant we could customize our itinerary to suit our interests, which was a huge plus. We never felt rushed and were able to explore at our own pace, enjoying the flexibility and personal attention that comes with a private tour. Overall, this trip was a perfect blend of comfort, education, and adventure. If you're considering visiting Luxor from Hurghada, I highly recommend opting for a private transfer with an Egyptologist guide.

Great time - We had a great time on our trip to the Valley of the Kings! As others have said, you pack *a lot* into this trip. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing but just be prepared for it to be a rushed day. Having said that, our guide Rasha offered lots of information and gave us plenty of free time to walk about and take pictures after she explained a few things about each site. Although you went quickly, it felt enough time for us but a lot of these sites could probably take 2-3 hrs each to fully explore! For a day trip, you get a good taste of what it’s all about. I’ve marked this down a star only because our van was on the small side. If you’re 5’8” or taller, then you may struggle. However, they do stop along the way for you to stretch your legs, etc. One thing to mention is that the vans are equipped with seat belts and there are two drivers on the trip (which is good since it’s a long day)! All in all, we felt this was real value for money. Would recommend to friends & family

Excellent - Mohamed Salah was very kind and provided us with a lot of useful information. In the Karnak Temple, in the Kiralyok valley, and in the Kiralyok burial place. We left with a big lead, because Mohamed was very excited and gave an interesting and mature answer to everything. I heartily recommend it. It was the best Karnak Temple. We learned many things that you cannot find on the Internet. He answered everything kindly and patiently. It was a stress-free, informative and interesting excursion, Egypt (SHERIF TOURS). If you want to go, look for Mohamed Salah if you are really interested in the history of Egypt.

Brilliant trip - Mohamed Salah The trip was well worth it. Mohamed was a very friendly guide and was able to give us lots of explanations. He always made sure that we could listen in the shade and elegantly led us past the large group tours. We didn't want to do the Nile cruise at first because we had heard a lot of bad things about Banana Island. But Mohamed assured us that we wouldn't visit it and so we were able to enjoy a lovely Nile cruise. We would happily recommend the trip.

Highly recommended. - Today we did the tour from Hurghada to Luxor with Mohammed Salah. First we went to the Karnak temple. Beautiful all those columns . We then did the Nile boat tour to Banana island (really something for tourists, but still nice to get a breath of fresh air on the water). Then we had lunch and visited the Hatsepsut temple. The front view of the temple is especially impressive. Finally, we visited the Valley of the Kings where we visited 3 Ramesses tombs and the tomb of Tutankhamun. The last was the least impressive, but because the mummy and sarcophagus were still there, it was definitely worth it. All in all a very nice and complete trip. Highly recommended.

Excellent trip - Excellent trip to Luxor from Hurghada. We had two great drivers who spoke good english and took us on the four hour trek through the mountains to Luxor. Our tour guide, Salah, was excellent showing us the main sights but also giving us the history of the region and of Egypt. Highly recommend though suggest you do this in cooler months as we went in the summar and it was extremmely hot. Great service and really enjoyed our time.

Disappointing for a private tour - Booked a private tour thinking it would be quicker, comfortable & better overall but very disappointed. To start the journey there and back was horrendous in the car, roads are very bad so felt everything, was painful, we got picked up 4am in the dark and when we arrived and got out of the car at around 9am we noticed how dirty the inside of the car was! There were footprints on the car seats and dust everywhere! We met Tariq our tour guide at our first stop, to be honest not a very engaging person, we felt like he marched us around the stops then gave us free time after to go back around ourselves to take photos, this happened at every stop during the day. Didn’t understand why we couldn’t both at the same time. We were charged an extra €50 for the 2 of us to go on a 20 minute Nile cruise where is was advertised as €10 per person. We had been looking forward to this so had to pay it but not worth the cost. Lunch was good, the driver was good, the sites were good, Luxor was beautiful but the day was a let down due to our tour guide and the car journey.
