The marina, located in the heart of Hurghada, has a large boardwalk with a variety of restaurants, stores, amusement activities, and tour operators. This breathtaking sea view avenue is located close to Sheraton Road, the main roadway in the Sakala neighbourhood. It was built in 2008 and is centred on a harbour with 200 berths and encircled by Marina Boulevard, a lovely boulevard lined with palm trees, parks and ochre-colored stores and apartment buildings. The marina has numerous shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities. The fish market and El Mina Mosque are located next to the Marina. The fish market is the nearest attraction to Marina. El Mina Mosque is one of the most attractive sights in Hurghada, and it is best to visit during the day.

A guided tour of some of the highlights of Hurghada - Great tour with Billy,pick up was on time and we were taken to the marina with lovely cafes and restaurants then on to the Great Mosque fabulous!! Also included was short visits to the fish markets and fruit and vegetable markets very vibrant and colourful seeing all the fruit displayed!! A church visit and a street walk around the shops were also included and Billy’s enthusiasm came across in bundles.Stopped to have a mango smoothie which was lovely (thanks Billy)would 100% recommend and the city of Hurghada felt very safe to explore

Hurghada City Tour - Ahmed was very kind to do a last minute city tour for me. It felt like it was an exclusive tour as I was on my own. It was more of a walking tour. We visited the Marina, Fish Market, Al Mina Mosque, The Coptic Church, the Downtown markets, and the new Market. He was knowledgeable about his hometown. It felt more personal. I learned a lot on this day.
Fun fact:
Did you know that there is no Public Beach in Hurghada?
Apparently, all shorelines / beachfronts were bought by resort owners. Hence, you need to be booked in a resort to enjoy beach with parasols and sunbeds or go out of Hurghada to enjoy the beach for free. Family beaches as for families and women only. Men can not enter on his own or with male friends only, but are abel
to if they are with family. They still have to pay as its bot free ☺️

2 beautiful days with family - 2 Family days, quad - buggy - camel - ride and the next day visit to the city of Hurghada.
We spent two very good days, well organized and accompanied by a very good guide.
