Simply magnificent from start to finish, highly recommended. - Simply an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Yes a long trip but totally worth it. We went as a family with 2, 8 year olds and we opted for the optional Nile boat trip and camel ride around the pyramids, which in my opinion at just 20 gbp was absolutely great value for money. Seeing so many historic things in one day was so special and although time is limited at each stop, it is plenty of time to take it all in. Hanan our tour guide was so kind and helpful, she certainly knows a lot about the ancient Egyptians and the history which proved very useful during the day. She kept us informed of the days program and gave detailed information regarding any optional extras and wasn’t pushy as some other tours we have been on. Hanan gave great advice for navigating through the numerous sellers and gave great suggestions for alternative places to buy the same products but much cheaper. Firstly we stopped at the Egyptian museum where, as you would expect, was full of antiquities and artefacts from Egypt which were all fascinating. As time was limited, Hanan guided our time well with the most significant items on display. We did have free time to explore and were able to see all we wanted to see. Second stop was a perfume and Oil establishment where were treated with warm Bedouin hospitality and traditional drinks and shown with expert guidance many different scents oils and aroma’s they produced with the option of purchasing some of you wished, without any pressure. Following this we had lunch as a group in a nice local authentic eatery that had a variety of buffet style foods with grilled meet selection brought to your table. Drinks are not included but are very reasonably priced. During the lunch stop Hanan recommended a shop close to the restaurant were we could do a little tourist shopping. Next stop took us to the highlight of the day, the pyramids and the Sphinx! What can I say except for WOW! Such an amazing experience, we opted for a camel ride (horse and carriage is available) as a family we had a camel each and the ride was approximately 30 minutes which took us to a highlight point to get a panoramic view of all the pyramids. Our Camel guide took some great photos for us and appreciate a gesture of gratitude for the pleasure. We had plenty of free time to touch and explore and live in the experience which was truly breathtaking. You can pay extra to go into the pyramids but as a 6ft 1” man with a bad back, I opted out of this one. Hanan explained that although you can go inside the great pyramid, there isn’t all that much to see but the option was still available. Following the pyramids, we went down to the sphinx were Hanan made a great suggestion on where to go to avoid busy crowds and to get fantastic photos. All throughout the trip to the pyramids and sphinx we were expertly guided by Hanan on the history and significance of what we’re seeing and also a lot of modern local information and culture that just added to the experience. Last stop was to a papyrus established where you can see how the papyrus is made and worked and its history and significance in Egyptian culture. Many wonderful papyrus works were on display and again, you have the option to purchase at very affordable prices, with no pressure to buy. Overall, the day was well worth the lengthy travel to and from Cairo. You simply would not regret this trip and I would highly recommend as it gives you the opportunity to experience Egypt and its history, something you simply cannot do staying in Hurghada alone. The trip is great value for money, family friendly and gives you all you could ever want to make truly amazing memories. For those who maybe have anxiety about taking children or lone travellers who worry about safety, I can simply say I have never felt safer on a trip in a foreign country. We had an armed guard with us at all times as well as the guide, 2 hosts and the driver who were all acting for our safety and security to allow us to have a great trip without any fear or worry. Also, all optional extras were pre arranged by the tour guide (you need to confirm if you want to do these extra activities earlier so the guide can arrange) using reputable sources that ensure we were well looked after at all times. Some tips and advice for perspective traveler's. Bring a hat and plenty of cool water. You should be prepared for many sellers but remember it’s ok to say no thank you. Be prepared for optional trips that you can pay in many different currencies, and again, it’s ok not to do these (but I highly recommend you do) also, show generosity to those who help such as the camel guide, it makes such a difference in the quality of the experience and we’re not talking a lot of money, just a show of gratitude. Lastly, the trip is long so make sure you have some snacks, book and some music and take advantage of rest stops to use the restroom and replenish your water.

An excellent trip - Ayman , the tour guide was very good. He spoke in detail about everything we came to see. The trip was well organised and I would do it again. It was my first time in Ciaro and I choose the right group and tour guide to experience it with.
