Beautiful relaxed evening - This was an excellent cultural trip. The location is new and they were not busy at all, meaning we got an excellent attentive service from the staff. Positives: The evening was very relaxed. The sunset over the mountains was gorgeous. Staff were very friendly and happy. The food was delicious (hummus, fresh flatbreads, salad, soup, shish kebab, chicken and rice with fruit and fried donut balls). Traditional experiences were enjoyable (making fresh flatbreads, listening to live music, a short dance class). The star gazing was informative with a guide studied in astrophysics and with a professional telescope. Toilets and facilities were immaculate. Negatives: There weren’t that many customers there so the atmosphere was lacking a bit. The moon and planets weren’t in the sky at the time of our trip (obviously not their fault but would have made the telescope viewing more interesting). Overall a fabulous relaxed evening away from the all inclusive madness at our hotel!

Traditional Night To Remember - We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the camp. On arrival we were given coffee and the most amazing dates and the opportunity to use the rest rooms, we also met Alex the camel and some members of the camp. We were taken up into one of the hills where a seated area had been set up with drinks and nibbles to watch the sunset over the mountains. It was breathtaking. Next came a camel ride on the magnificent Alex. I felt like a child again. He was so good with us. We went back to the camp and learned how to make bread, cooked it on a hot stone and tasted our hard work. We also ground coffee beans which we drank later. We danced, played music, ate fabulous food and then with our astronomy expert looked to the stars. Jupiter, a nebula in Orion’s Belt and then the moon. Everyone was so welcoming and couldn’t do enough. It was a pleasure to spend time there and learn about their way of life. We would absolutely go again!
