Fabulous bird and wildlife spotting - This is a beautiful afternoon-evening tour. Saw many different birds and a couple of wallabies. Spotted crocs lurking in ponds. If you are a keen photographer, this is definitely a tour for you. Geoff was my guide and he was so friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. On the way back, we stopped at the Humpty Doo pub. I can recommend the chicken parma. This adventure was stand-out activity.

11 Out of 10- Don’t Skip Past This One! - How I ended up booking this tour was simply a hunch! And well the hunch I had was spot on! Booked via Viator, Jane contacted to confirm pick up on the morning of tour - great pre tour service! Geoff arrived on time to pick up location - tick ✔️ Vehicle as promised 6 of us all with a window seat to view. We were the last ones picked up and headed out of town - Geoff gave us plenty of Darwin local information which we having been in Darwin for a few days had already had bits of this information but all the same happy to listen to Geoff and being such a small group able to ask some questions along the way which is always a bonus to have interactions like this. We headed towards Fogg Dam with a couple of short stops along the way to see termite mounds and looking for wildlife that Geoff had seen in recent days around Fogg Dam region. We had a mixed group of people and Geoff did amazing by speaking to each on the bus directly and interacting with all to make everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. Very professional! Once we got into Fogg Dam we drove slowly along stopping frequently to enjoy bird watching. Geoff was very knowledgeable and also cautious of our safety given end of wet season and crocodile sitings and ensuring where it was safe for us all to hop off and explore. Fogg Dam on sunset is a photographers delight! Amazing opportunities for wildlife photography and not rushed at all plenty of time to soak the atmosphere take some happy snaps, family photos or photographers photos along the way! Geoff also has his professional standard photography equipment to take up close photos and share with the group! Definitely a extra bonus! We were fortunate to spot some crocs on our tour (but even if we had not) simply being there at Fogg Dam on sunset was amazingly beautiful - the croc spotting was just extra fun! After our adventures - we all enjoyed a traditional pub meal and drink at the Humpty Doo Tavern! Geoff lives local and everyone at the pub is super friendly- and yes it’s rowdy and boisterous but in fabulous company with Geoff and he makes sure everyone is well looked after and Geoff will give you assistance with choosing your meals where required and suggest if you should split a meal as they are huge …we skipped lunch (I knew it would be a traditional pub size dinner) Geoff and Jane thanks for bringing such an awesome personalised small tour group business to Darwin! It’s needed. Geoff - thank you for being an amazing tour guide, and simply a easygoing friendly welcoming great person! I wish you guys every success and I look forward to seeing you again one day in the NT for more adventures! We did lots of tours whilst in Darwin and Day Trips and this was by far the best of everything we did while in Darwin and best value for money!

The Fantastic Fogg Experience - Geoff is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a genuine guy. He made sure we all had a wonderful time showing us Fogg Dam's wildlife diversity. Between the crocs, birds, plant life and fighting wallabies, there's plenty to see. Got some beautiful sunset pictures too. And Humpty Doo - what a pub! great food at affordable prices plus friendly locals thrown in. Next step, try the vanilla slices recommended.

Being picked up and... - Being picked up and dropped off at your hotel makes touring so much easier. Geoff was a fabulous, friendly, humorous, considerate and knowledgeable guide! Comfortable Mercedes van that is easy to get in and out of, compared to those large coaches. Geoff is extremely knowledgeable and also takes great pictures which he happily shares with you! The whole experience including dinner at the Humpty Doo hotel was brilliant. Small tour groups are definitely the way to go! I highly recommend this tour!

Brilliant - Brilliant. It’s like a proper walkabout but in a minibus. Very intimate with only a maximum of 6 people. There were only 3 (including me) on ours. Geoff’s knowledge of the ‘top end’, Darwin, indigenous peoples and wildlife is impeccable. Look out for crocodiles, water buffalo, toads, turtles, birds and other fauna and flora. And to top it off, afterwards down to a Northern Territory institution for a beer and a meal. Brilliant (And you get photos)

Hands down, best half-day tour from Darwin - What a wonderful experience! Geoff, who is a wonderful guide with endless knowledge of the area and it's history, picked us up from our hotel and we first drove around Darwin, learning if its history plus some interesting fun-fact anecdotes. We then continued toward the Wetlands and visited Fogg dam. As this was a sunset tour, we had the chance to see a vast selection of wildlife and we were lucky enough to see the Wetlands wake up at night with owls, crocs, toads and insane sunset views. This was followed by a wonderful dinner experience at the loveliest Aussie pub in Humpty-Doo, where we were blown away by how welcoming and nice this small local community is. This was a lovely afternoon/evening experience, perfect for those of us who don't like to wake up at impossible early hours for tour pick-ups :)

Great time in Darwin! - We had such a great time with Geoff from LookAbout Tours in Darwin. He is unbelievably knowledgeable about the area’s history and wildlife and took us on an amazing outing to see the birds at Fog Dam wetland. Dinner at Humpty Doo was also great fun and a wonderful taste of Darwin culture. Thank you, Geoff and Jane for a very memorable experience in Darwin! And thank you for going above and beyond picking us up and returning us to our cruise ship.

Excellent tour of Fogg Dam - Excellent tour of the Fogg Dam. I must say it was one of the most memorable and informative trips we have had, while visiting the top end. Geoff was very enthusiastic pointing out birds and other wildlife and even taking photos for us and sending them the following day. Trip to Humpty Doo Hotel was a nice end to the evening with a chance to chat with Geoff. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in wildlife or photography.
