Northern Territory nature at its best. - We booked this trip with LookAbout Tours because we used to go Fogg Damn forty odd years ago to bird watch and see the fabulous sunsets. We regarded it as a good way to see some Northern Territory nature and as a nostalgic trip down memory lane. We were not disappointed! Geoff was a superb guide and appreciated that we were there to reminisce as well as see some birds. The side trip to Leaning Tree Lagoon was a bonus as we saw a large variety of birds, including Jabiru Stork, Royal Spoonbill and a close up of Red Tailed Cockatoo. Fogg Damn itself was different to how we remembered it with a sealed road and viewing platforms but there were very few visitors so we virtually had the place to ourselves. The sunset was lovely and provided fantastic photographs. After the sun had set we went to Humpty Doo pub nearby where we enjoyed good beer, Barramundi and the biggest steak in the NT, There was only four guests with Geoff and we really enjoyed having a chat together after the tour. The following day, Geoff sent us copies of his photos which was a bonus. We would definitely recommend this trip as a great way to see Northern Territory nature in a small, friendly group.

Easy Recommend! - Easy recommend! Small group, tour guide Goeff - enthusiastic, knowledgeable... made every minute of this trip a superb use of time. Plus, he had extra "high end" binoculars to share AND he had a long lens camera and took stunning photos of the various wildlife(s), AND he emailed those to us at the end of the trip.

If you have the chance, don’t miss this. - A wonderful afternoon and evening in a small party of 6. Geoff picked us up from our hotel on the dot. He was extremely knowledgeable and could spot the wildlife before we could focus, and then forwarded some brilliant photos to us. The evening ended at the Humpty Doo Hotel-lovely food and a great end to the evening with Geoff and the rest of the group.

Best tour from Darwin - Best tour so far from Darwin. Geoff was very knowledgeable about the history of Darwin, as well as the wetlands and the birds and animals that inhabit them. The magnetic termite mounds were very impressive, The two wetland stops to see birds and other wildlife were amazing, including an encounter with a big buffalo, sunset was spectacular at Fogg dam, and the food at the Humpty Doo pub was to die for. Can’t wait to get the close-up photos that Geoff took, especially of jabiru And wallabies.

Don’t miss this tour! - Brilliant tour of Fogg Dam wetlands. Thoroughly enjoyable and very informative. Our guide Geoff was excellent. Knowledgeable and helpful, and even sending a bundle of photos the next morning of the birds and animals we saw. Dinner at Humpty Doo pub was a great finish with wonderful conversation with fellow international travellers. Highly recommended. 🤩🤩🤩
