The journey starts with a scenic drive along the stunning crescent-shaped Red Beach. Then, continue along the dragon-shaped Hai Van Pass, which stretches for 20 kilometers, and stop at Hai Van Tower, situated over 500 meters above sea level, to explore the history of the French and Spanish war.
Pause at the lagoon to board an old boat, crafted from an airplane in the 1990s, and learn the traditional method of catching live fish by using a foot-operated rolling net.
Sail to the oyster farm, where local fishermen demonstrate how oysters live, grow, and are harvested. You can even select oysters to suit your taste right on the spot.
Dock the boat where a variety of oysters, from fresh to steamed and grilled, are prepared by the fisherman’s wife for a delightful lunch, accompanied by a refreshing breeze and breathtaking mountain views. Each oyster offers a unique flavor, perfectly complemented by a sip of rice wine.
After a satisfying meal, return to the mainland and drive back to Da Nang through the Hai Van Tunnel, the longest tunnel in Southeast Asia.
