Hue Imperial City (The Citadel) - The Complex of Hue Monuments, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is situated in Hue city, central Vietnam. Founded as the capital of Vietnam by Gia Long, the first king of the Nguyen Dynasty in 1802, Hue served as the capital for nine Nguyen dynasties until 1945. The vast complex includes hundreds of monuments and ruins, such as the Forbidden Purple City, once the royal family’s residence and heavily damaged during the Vietnam War, the Imperial City, royal tombs, flag tower, pagodas, temples, a library, and a museum.
Museum of Royal Antiquities - Established in 1923 and originally named Musée Khai Dinh, the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum is one of Vietnam’s first museums. It houses numerous collections of ancient Hue artifacts, primarily royal antiquities, including porcelain, enameled bronze wares, royal attire, royal seals, musical instruments used in offering ceremonies, glass paintings, red-lacquered and gilded, and mother-of-pearl inlaid woodwork. Additionally, there is a unique and diverse collection of Cham sculptures.

Tomb of Minh Mang - Also known as “Hieu Mausoleum,” Minh Mang’s tomb is one of the Nguyen Dynasty’s most mystical tombs, featuring a complex system of 40 stunning structures, including temples, pavilions, and palaces. The tomb is a microcosm of Hue Citadel, perfectly combining manmade and natural beauty.
