long-life history, such an ancient place being worth to visit - Even though it was just a day, I left feeling like I understood a lot more about Vietnam’s history as well as enjoyed a tasty but maybe quite weird dessert "che bot loc heo quay"
The city has this quiet, royal charm that really pulls you in, and seeing the Citadel and Khai Dinh Tomb in person was something else.
Our guide shared so many interesting stories that brought everything to life, not just facts and dates. Definitely worth doing if you’re in Central Vietnam and want something deeper than just sightseeing.

Amazing One-Day Tour to Hue – Well Worth It! - This was a great day trip from start to finish! The itinerary was well-organized and covered key heritage spots like Khai Dinh Tomb, the Imperial City, and Thien Mu Pagoda. I especially loved the blend of culture, history, and scenic views – Lang Co Bay was a beautiful bonus stop. Our guide, Tylor, was friendly and informative, and everything went smoothly. Perfect if you want to see Hue in a short amount of time!
Quick Tips:
Wear comfortable shoes – there’s quite a bit of walking
Bring water and sunscreen, especially if you go in the dry season
Don’t skip the Imperial City – it’s the highlight!

Hue Day Trip: A Royal Experience - Just back from the Hue Heritage Day Trip with my partner and wow—it was amazing! 🌟 Super smooth itinerary, comfy ride, and our guide was awesome—fun, friendly, and full of cool stories. Every stop was packed with culture and history, and lunch? Chef’s kiss 😋 Totally worth it. 10/10 would recommend for anyone wanting to soak up Hue’s vibes in a day!

The tour organizers were... - The tour organizers were very professional. We got contacted the day before about pick up time and everything else went smoothly. The guide, Loan, was lovely—friendly but not overwhelming. Lunch was delicious and the restaurant quite beautiful. Highly recommend! (One minor note is that we were the first to be picked up and the pick up of all other guests took about an hour. There is nothing one can do about this but probably just good to keep in mind to be mentally prepared).

Very good tour - Even the weather wasn't great, even our group was big and diverse so the guide Lane declared everything twice in English + Vietnamese (we booked eglish speaking tour!), but she was so knowledgeable and kind than couldn't put lower score than 5

"Loved every minute! Great driver and guide. Everything went smoothly." - Imperial City (Kinh Thành Huế): A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this walled complex served as the seat of the Nguyễn Dynasty. It features grand palaces, temples, and the Forbidden Purple City.
Tombs of the Emperors: The ornate mausoleums of emperors such as Minh Mạng, Khải Định, and Tự Đức showcase stunning architecture and are surrounded by serene landscapes.
Thiên Mụ Pagoda: This iconic seven-story pagoda is one of the oldest and most sacred religious structures in Huế.
Perfume River (Sông Hương): A leisurely boat ride offers picturesque views and access to various historical sites along its banks.
Đông Ba Market: Experience local culture and shop for traditional handicrafts, food, and souvenirs.

Fun full day tour from Danang to Hue - We were staying at Danang, sort of as our base, and exploring north and south from there. My husband and I ended up being the only two in the group, and we had a private car and guide and driver, all for a very reasonable price. It was quite a long, hot day - we visited Vietnam in August, which was our fault (except we couldn't go any other time) and it is was a fair distance from our hotel to Hue. The stop at the pearl place in Lang Co Beach was, I felt for us at least, unnecessary. And, quite frankly, the stop at the Thien My Pagoda was also unnecessary (and the short boat trip awkward. The proprietor of the boat really wanted us to buy her souvenirs). Lunch was amazing. That being said, if we had done nothing but stop at the Tomb of Khai Dinh and the Citadel in Hue, I think I would have liked that even better. The Tomb was unexpectedly gorgeous. We also really enjoyed the Citadel in Hue. Our tour guide and our driver were both lovely. I know it sounds super cheesy, but we paid to dress in the royal robes and get our pictures taken at the Citadel. It was only a few dollars and the pictures are fun souvenirs.

I highly recommend this tour. - This was a great tour! The whole family had fun. Our tour guide Loan (Pea) was an amazing guide. She knew her stuff and was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
