Huaraz - The journey begins by departing from the city of Huaraz, heading north and descending into the Callejón de Huaylas, also known as the Santa Valley, towards the village of Paltay. The route continues on an unpaved road to Pashpa (3400 m), leading to the picturesque Lake Cochapampa. Here, the local team of mule drivers awaits. The trip from Huaraz to Paltay takes approximately 90 minutes. A peaceful ascent through the Ishinca Valley follows, leading to the camp near Refugio Don Bosco. The trek takes about 4-5 hours. Overnight camping is arranged.

The return journey passes through a hillside adorned with queñuales trees (Polylepis spp.), native to the high Andes. Private transport will be ready upon arrival. The group is likely to arrive early and enjoy lunch in Huaraz. Accommodation is provided at a hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
