Breakfast Delight - Would highly recommend Shanghai foodie and this breakfast tour. Jade our guide was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, her English was strong and she did an amazing job of guiding us through the tour and ensuring we had a great experience. The breakfast tour is a great introduction to the Shanghai food scene and to try many foods for the first time and likely food you would be unable to order on your own. If you are looking for a food tour pick this company.

Excellent way to start your day - Perfect way to kick off a Sunday in Shanghai. Kurt was an excellent host and I really enjoyed the mix of delicious food and drinks highlights being the ‘dirty’ coffee, chinese crepe/pancake, Shanghai dumplings and the burek-style shallot oil pancake at the markets. The French quarter has a chilled vibe at that time of the morning, wish I had more time to come back and check out the restaurants, wine bars and boutique shops I saw along the way. Throw in the walks through some backstreets and then the parks full of people undertaking activities from yo-yos to choirs to ballroom dancing to musicians and matchmaking, all in all it was a highly enjoyable 3.5 hours. Kurt was a great host, happy to share knowledge but also go off on tangents if the conversation took a turn. There is no sense at all of a rote performance, every tour would be different according to the interests of the guests. Strongly recommended, including the booking process.

Great tour! - We did this tour with Jade and we were very full by the end. The jianbing was probably the best I've ever had and we enjoyed the fact that all the stops were very local, not tourist traps. Definitely recommend if you come to Shanghai

A leisurely morning walk discovering Shanghai street food - Thank you Jade for a wonderful introduction to Shanghai street food and an opportunity to enjoy your beautiful city. So many culinary surprises to enjoy (especially loved the egg pancakes). It was very interesting to see the care and attention that was given to preparing even simple dishes especially the coffee brewing stop and the visit with the gracious tea hostess. Extra bonus, all the flowers in the park were in full bloom.

Morning food and Shanghai culture with Jade. - Ms. Jade was very knowledgeable about the food and Shanghai culture and history. The choice of food was delicious and the trips down the side streets and the park in the French Concession added to the experience.

Come hungry! - Great walking tour around shanghai tasting dumplings and Chinese donuts with Jade. Forced me to try places i would not have been comfortable going to on my own. I was too full by the last stops so come hungry.

Nice time with Jade - Jade took me around this morning telling me various bits of information about all things food, French Concession, Shanghai, China and more! It was nice to try some Shsnghainese foods as they are different to what I’d already eaten. Jade’s English was fantastic and it was a lovely morning spent wandering the streets of Shanghai! Thank you Jade and I’m sorry I completely forgot to give you your tip! You deserved it!
