Fab evening out! - Had an excellent evening sampling lots of regional foods all within the French quarter; from lamb kebabs to spicy dim sum. Patrick our guide was interesting and informed and helped us navigate around areas we would not have found on our own. A great evening. We were stuffed by the end!

Great tasting and walking tour of Chinese street food - I had great time exploring different little places with unique food sampling, from Shanghai food to Xian grilled style food. Cold crisp beer was also served and it complemented food well. The guide was very knowledgeable in explaining different style cuisine and was very friendly to chat and spend time with. I would highly recommend this tour for local cultural and gastro immersion.

An absolute highlight - It was a great and entertaining tour with Jade. Very good food and good conversations about Shanghai's history. In the hot summer temperatures, the different types of beer we tried were an ideal and refreshing way to cool down.

Great food tour with Jade and Jim - Excellently organised tour, with freshly cooked and delicious food. We got to try 4 different restaurants plus a tea tasting and some fresh fruits. Jade and Jim were great providing info about the history of the places we walked by and also about how to properly taste the local food. Would recommend 100%

Fabulous food tour with Jim and Jade - We were a group of 9. Three families including two teenagers. This was the highlight of our 4 days in Shanghai. Jim and Jade were fantastic! We went to hole in wall, really authentic places that locals go to. First stop was a tiny noodle place, then duck, tea tasting, dumplings, bbq on sticks, fruits from a local vendor, many more! We told Jim the group was into craft beers and we were sampling craft beers from a tiny bar with camp chairs on the roadside, very cool. They had a great system whereby Jade would be forward party so when we got to the place we had tables for the group, food was already ordered and drinks were handed to us. Very efficient, great use of time and everything was smooth and hassle free. You really feel you are interacting with locals and the money you spend is going directly to small businesses. Highly recommend!!

A must for culinary China beginners - The culinary night tour through the cuisine of China with my "private" guide Patrick was simply delicious and extremely interesting. From the noodles with peanut sauce to the barbecue from Xinjiang, various types of dumplings in different small restaurants, a small beer tasting and an interesting dessert from a special Shanghai bakery... for me it was the highlight of my stay. Thank you or 很谢谢 to Patrick for the friendly and extremely competent leadership of this tour. Tip:...you should skip dinner beforehand in the hotel.
