Experience twelve characteristic dishes of Shanghai over a three-hour culinary journey down Huangpi Road, a historic boundary between the former French Concession and residential sections of Shanghai. Try soup dumplings enhanced with black vinegar, savour the distinct taste of parched chicken, fluffy steamed buns, scallion oil noodles, among other delights. Witness how migration has led to the flourishing and multicultural evolution of this rapidly changing city. This gastronomic tour provides several times of departure throughout the day.
Currently, a special late-night tour option is available at 8:30 PM. In this session, experience nocturnal Shanghai while savoring craft beers or dessert accompanied by fresh hand-pulled beef noodles and succulent lamb kebabs.

Amazing tour - Had an amazing couple of hours with Jim and Jade! We tried so many tasty dishes and it was a great introduction to Shanghai cuisine. It was all local spots and all were really tasty! The group was great fun aswell and Jim and Jade had so much information on Shanghai in general it was fab! Honestly a must do if you are in Shanghai

Great guide, great food - Jim was an excellent guide and showed us some amazing local food and tea. We absolutely loved this tour and will be signing up for similar tours any time we visit a new city from now on. I hope our future tour guides will be as knowledgeable and helpful as Jim! Exceptional local experience in Shanghai - To say this tour was incredible is an understatement. Jade was the most professional and friendly guide, showing off some of the best of Shanghai that a tourist would have a hard time ever finding on their own, while making you feel like a long time friend along for an afternoon stroll of the neighborhood. Best Experience in Shanghai - Best experience in Shanghai. Jade was amazing during the tour. She took us into a deep culinary tour. Tour was well organized and accommodated our dietary restrictions. Beer was amazing. Jade was very knowledgeable about the local restaurants and the history of the City. Highly recommended while in Shanghai and if possible with Jade.

Awesome introduction to Shanghai! - Jim was a great tour guide and host on this food tour! We had pancakes, dumplings, tea, more dumplings, fresh fruit, and ice cream. Jim even weaved in some history on the tour as he showed us around the city. I would definitely recommend this food tour to anyone who is curious about exploring Shanghai and is not sure where to start!
