Huacachina - The adventure begins at the Hotel “La Casa del Bamboo,” situated near the Huacachina Oasis. Our buggy driver will guide guests to a tourist control booth, where a tourist tax of S/3.60 soles per person is required. Following this, guests will ascend a small sand dune to board the buggies and commence the tour.

- Huacachina - The adventure begins at the Hotel “La Casa del Bamboo,” situated near the Huacachina Oasis. Our buggy driver will guide guests to a tourist control booth, where a tourist tax of S/3.60 soles per person is required. Following this, guests will ascend a small sand dune to board the buggies and commence the tour.
Our skilled driver will lead the desert tour, making several stops for guests to admire the scenery and capture photos.
The tour continues to the peak of a large dune, where our instructor will demonstrate the sport of sandboarding.
At the summit, guests can enjoy sandboarding and take numerous photos.
The tour concludes with a return to the Huacachina lagoon, where guests will head back to the starting point (Hotel El Bamboo) to complete the service. Taxi services are available at our office for tourists.
- ADRENALINE BUGGY TOUR - Visitors will explore the Huacachina desert (Ica) in a buggy accommodating approximately 10 passengers. The tour includes stops for sandboarding and concludes with a sunset view during the last tour of the day.
- Important note: On “official holidays” in Peru, the buggy ride lasts about 1 hour (for all tours from 10 am to the final departure at 5 pm).
On regular days (non-holidays), the only 2-hour tour is from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (All other tours before 4:00 p.m. will last only 1 hour).

Great experience at Ica dessert - The experience was so fun with sandboarding, buggy drivers are very professional always caring about safety first and also very kind. Enjoying a sunset in the dessert in Peru was unique.

Huacachina - Ballestas Islands - Paracas - The tours, the yransport were very cheverous. It struck me that in the two plans we chose there was no mention of samtravels, but everything was still very good!!

Mad Max-style Adventure - The buggy ride in the Huacachina Oasis was one of the most incredible tourist experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ve traveled quite a bit.
The adventure begins in a breathtaking setting, with stunning views of the massive dunes. The place is packed with buggies — or, as I like to call them, true Mad Max-style sand conquerors. Each buggy holds about eight people, and while it’s an adventurous ride, it’s surprisingly comfortable for what it is. But don’t forget: this is an adrenaline-packed activity!
It feels like a rollercoaster in the middle of the desert, with the roar of the engine as you go up and down massive dunes that make your stomach churn with excitement. It’s worth every penny, and the price is surprisingly affordable for everything you get. And the best part? We made several stops to slide down the dunes on sandboards and watched a stunning sunset disappearing behind the golden, fine sands.
Our driver was fantastic and very attentive. I highly recommend this experience, and I would gladly do it again!

Don’t miss this tour - Sam was a really nice guy. We booked 5pm tour, when we got Hotel Bamboo around 4:45pm, he was already waiting for us there, and then arranged us to storage bags, using washroom, leading us to the dune.
Dune buggy is really a fun and must-have experience in Peru, don’t miss it, it’s absolutely worth you to take time and money to visit Huacachina Oasis.
BTW, sitting on the moon evening dune and enjoying the outside music concert, is a really romantic experience.

Great tour - I did the Dune Buggy and Sandboarding experience in Huacachina at the end of the day, so watch the sunset. The experience was fun, adrenaline and unique. Recommendation this experience and the tour operator as it was serious and punctual.

Thriller Dune Buggy Ride - June 2024 - My husband and I had an amazing time on this dune buggy ride through the Huacachina oasis. Our driver drifted off of sand dunes and made our buggy ride a real thriller!! We also stopped a few times and went down on the sandboards on our bellies. Going later in the day was great as we got to watch a beautiful sunset as well. Worth the money, so much fun!!

Great fun, a bit disorganised - Lots of fun being driven over the dunes, with plenty of time for photos and the opportunity to sandboard.
The start of the tour was disorganised - we were told to meet at a hostel at 15:45, but were then told at 16:30 to walk to the dunes. We probably didn’t lose much time, but we were waiting around for a while with no communication from the company.

Very fun but short - Was very fun and the guide was nice. We had booked the tour of one hour, you then walked 5min to a car and after another 40min was dropped off again to walk back through the oasis. So a little shorter than expected and therefore not quite cheap.
But you must have made it very funny. The oasis is very nice.
