The GeoSea sea baths source their water from two boreholes, one situated by the cheese barrel and the other near Húsavík port. There isn’t any requirement for cleaning products or tools as the unbroken circulation of water from the boreholes, through the pools, over their rims and into the ocean ensures water cleanliness in compliance with health standards.

GeoSea sea baths offer a unique opportunity to appreciate the beauty of nature. Leveraging the geothermal heat from beneath the Earth’s surface, the sea water in the baths is warm and soothing.
