Very nice n informative tour guide - Gabriel , I read all his reviews before i took this tour so I had been wishing he'll be our tour guide and what do you know he's the only tour guide that does Albania . he kept us busy listening to him all the places we pass by on the way to Albania, we really forgot the long drive .took us to a nice restaurant for lunch that we enjoyed very much n gave us some time on our own . He was very patient with the long waiting at the albania border. He even dropped us off in our hotel so we don't have to walk from the original pick up place.

Long day but definitely worth it - Took this tour towards the end of our fortnight in Croatia. There’s naturally quite a bit of time involved in the travel (120 miles, no motorways), being mostly courtesy of the relative chaos at the Albanian border crossings but the route from Dubrovnik to Shkodër via Montenegro is beautiful, and the hours we spent in Albania were fascinating. The lunch included wasn’t the usual skinny take it or leave it fare, we could chose what we wanted from an extensive menu at a very good restaurant. Given Albania was closed to outsiders for so long, Shkodër seems to be catching up fast. Altogether a great day, and a big shout out for Gabriel who kept the travel interesting and proved to be an excellent and accommodating guide for the day.

The drive from Dubrovnik, through Montenegro, to Albania is long, but our guide kept it interesting the entire way. Highly recommend. Not many other trips that cover three different nations in a single day!

A great way to spend a day - Our English-speaking guide (Gabriel) was exceptional! He was incredibly knowledgeable and very courteous. He made the day great. It is a long drive, but the views along the way are amazing. Definitely try the Tiramisu when you stop in Montenegro. You can stretch your legs again during the ferry ride. You will need comfortable shoes for the walk up to, and through, the fortress in Albania.

This was a good excursion. The... -
This was a good excursion. The driver/guide was knowledgeable and interesting, as we're the places we stopped. My only concern is that the description in Viator's description of the tour are misleading. Our excursion lasted 17 hours, not the 12-13 that the brochure specified. Since it takes so long to cross the border into Albania, be honest and state that it takes that long.

Not so interesting - Driving from Dubrovnik to Albania is almost 12 hours and saw nothing in Albania except a castle and a church we did not go to city center another way spent 16 hours just to visit a church and a castle it's waste of time and money The guide himself was very nice and polite with good English accent
