Great guide - The guide Diana was very informative and knowledgeable about the tunnels and the history of the attached buildings. The tour was well worth my time. A solid 5 🌟.

Definitely Recommend - Definitely recommend this tour! I had no idea Houston had súch an interesting history. Vanessa, our guide could teach a history class. Best $30 I have spent in Houston.

Must do. - Unsure what to expect but it was a great thing to do. Vanessa was our guide and she was really knowledgeable and clearly loves her work. So much interesting information that I’d not seen in guidebooks. A whole part of Houston hidden underground.

Super interesting tour - Just finished a fabulous tour with Diana through the maze of tunnels underneath downtown Houston. Focus is on its history and the architecture. So many cool places to eat and shop! Beautiful places to see as well.

Underground tunnels that connect city blocks that act like a shopping mall - I love how private companies made tunnels connecting city blocks and their skyscrapers, like basically indoor malls to make their employees happy, to solve the problem of walking outside in the Houston hot weather. I find it fascinating! No government programs, at least as far as I know. It is a cool libertarian story, which I appreciate.
I also appreciated learning a little about the Esperson / Jones rivalry and the building architecture and history.

Interesting tour! - Vanessa was a fantastic tour guide. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting or even living in Houston who isn’t familiar with the tunnels. It’s really incredible to see this city below the city.

“HOUSTON TUNNELS; ANOTHER WORLD!” - This was truly a surprising & eye opening experience. I had incorrectly assumed a trip through ancient, dark tunnels with historical facts that would be interesting to learn. SURPRISE! I discovered a bright, vibrant world where life takes place each day in a city beneath a city. It was full of historical information & contemporary relevance, all masterfully woven together by our amazing guide “Diana”! She brought so much personality & Texas Pride to an historical story that so few of us outside of Texas might never come to know & be amazed by! I am 71, my wife is 69 & we had no difficulty in keeping up with our leader, as we wanted to hear every story, every factoid & every bit of her description of the art, architecture, reason for being & who the prime movers of these creations were, are now & why they came to exist. Visit Houston, take the tunnel tour & be amazed!
