Hop on, hop off, bog off!!!! - If I could have given less than 1 star I would have. We were not informed at any point that the last bus tour left Avaldsnes (one of the hop off points) at 13:45. My sister and I were delayed and missed this but. We were told when buying the tickets that the buses came every 45 minutes so waited for the next one which never came. Only by chance did another member of our party (when exiting the bus) ask the driver if he was heading back to Avaldsnes. The driver informed her that there were no more buses and they had finished for the day. You can imagine the panic that ensued. Several of our party were extremely distressed. We were on a cruise and needed to be back at the cruise terminal before the ship departed. Another bus would have gotten us back just in time but this was now not an option. One of our party had the foresight to ordered a taxi for us, which cost almost £40. It would have been extremely helpful if there had been notification somewhere that the buses stopped part way through the afternoon. Our family had already had a dreadful experience earlier in the holiday on another hop on hop off bus tour of Stavanger (I will not trouble you at this time with that). We stupidly made a bad decision to give the company the benefit of the doubt and try again when we reached Haugesund. If it hadn’t been for that member of our party asking about the next bus my sister and I would have been stranded in a foreign country trying to get home having misted out sailing, this being the last port of call. Needless to say I will never use hop on hop off tours again.

False advertisement - Long wait. Does not stop for photo at stop 4. Another long wait to return on bus. Take City Train instead, better service and available every 15 minutes.

Very poor service - Very disappointing. We waited for the bus for one hour 15 minutes and no buses! It stated buses would come every 30 minutes. Boarded the cruise and checked for the buses arrival but still none. So actually no buses for over one hour and 30 minutes or more. Not acceptable!

Waste of time and boring - Please don’t choose this company - so unorganised and just such a waste of money. The actual tour so boring - through the suburbs. We were told the roof was open to get in and see it’s a pvc grotty plastic roof that you can barely see anything through. Then stranded in a stop when our 10 minute bus stop sudden became inundated with people and we lost our seats. Wasted so much time. Don’t bother

Not worth the money ! - I wish I had read the reviews before we bought tickets ! We did the bus excursion immediately after disembarking from Cruise ship Iona. It is a relatively short trip, not a huge amount to see and cost about £35 per person. The only positive was it offered us shelter on a very rainy day. I subsequently walked from the dock/cruise terminal into town to see the Marilyn Monroe statue on the quay and the high street which has lots of nice shops, cafes and restaurants.

Terrible service with a less than enthusiastic driver - Overall a terrible waste of money. No interaction from the driver. Useless on board commentary. As tourists we were given a bad experience. Do Not Book

Waste of money, nothing to see - Don't waste your money, absolutely nothing to see of any interest. Very run down buildings. We were back within 40 minutes and didn't get off once due to the very underwhelming experience and absolutely nothing to see. £34 for a 40 minute round trip back to the boat

Waste of money - I would just like to say how disappointed I was with the experience at Haugesund. The driver was unfriendly and talked on his phone the whole time he was driving. Which is not safe. The audio commentary didn’t align with what we were seeing as the timing seemed wrong. So we missed information at stops. A young employe asked to see our tickets as we got off at the monument but didn’t give any information about the timings of buses. We were dropped off at what we thought was a museum and given no directions about how to find the museum as it was a good 10 mins walk from the stop. A very poor experience indeed. We ended up walking back ourselves. So a total waste of money. Left very disappointed so will leave a review on Facebook to warn others not to waste their money
