Breathtaking view - We booked via Klook app and got the crystal cabin. The scenic ride took 25 minutes offering views of beautiful Lantau island and we arrived at Ngong Ping village to go up the majestic Big Buddha shrine. The place has plenty shops and cafes for everyone and the kids really enjoyed this trip. Btw, there were plenty of Doraemon displays when we were there.

Nice and relaxing! - More convenient to buy cable-car tickets online. Not worth to buy the snack/meal vouchers. Used to be worth it but now the snack voucher can only be used to exchange a cup of diluted yuzi drink.

Great views - I thought that it would take ages to buy a ticket and then get on the cars, but the queue for pre-bought tickets was so much longer. We got there when it opened and were at the airport by 2 pm. That included taking a bus.

Nice views up - Excellent trip up in the cable car. We had a beautiful view of the area. It was a safe and breezy trip up to the top. It's about 30 minutes to go from the bottom to the top.

Great views in the Crystal cabin - We did a return cable car, going up in the crystal cabin and returning in the standard cabin. Both were an experience, views were amazing however we had low cloud half way up, so you couldn’t see much however it did add a bit of excitement to the ride not knowing what was coming. I would recommend doing Crystal or Crystal + both ways as you would have a less wait time. Best to also book tickets online so you don’t need to queue at the ticket booth line.

A view of Hong Kong via Ngong Ping 360 - This was an exciting ride for the family. We rode around 11am and the line was fast moving. The winds were strong and visibility was poor which made it a lot more exciting. However, for those wanting to view Hong Kong from the top, I would recommend going in the afternoon as visibility is way better. With minimal visibility due to fog and clouds, it makes for a more exciting ride as the visibility opens up as you land ngong ping. Overall, a good experience!!

Experience to have - Well organised, clean cable car, quick entry, two types of cabins (even the standard one is more than fine if you want to save money), beautiful views, the arrival at Tian Tan Buddha is truly worth the ride. We recommend the cable car both on the outward and return journey, which is fast and practical. Absolutely beautiful experience

Not For The Faint Hearted.... - Although this is amazing and the best way to see the area it can be quite scary...... We came to a stop mid way down and just swung about for a while - I am not the best for cable cars and the only reason I didn't completely freak out was because we had a chinese family who understood the announcement without panicing - maybe would be an idea to use other languages aswell please...

Round trip with family in cable car to Big Buddha statue. - Great view but not for the person with fear of heights. Very good views in all directions! Nice hop off at the island with walk to Big Buddha statue and all lotus flowers. Scary when in the cabin and windy weather! Avoid if you’re afraid of heights!
