Good tour - Jupiter was a great guide. She was friendly and knowledgeable, easy to talk to and was always willing to help out even after the tour was done. Our day went well and it was nice getting to know each other. If you get assigned to her, you'll be in good hands.
Keep in mind this location has a lot of stairs and incline so wear comfy shoes and expect to sweat. We got lucky with a very clear view of the Giant Buddha but some days may be too foggy to see it even from the top. Also, don't be afraid to try the food stalls at Tai O Village. You'd be missing out on good jerky and dried squid/fish.

Fantastic experience! - Mr Chen is a first rate tour guide. His ease of sharing the history and background of the location was delightful. I was traveling for business and was happy to be able to take advantage of seeing this gem. It was well worth the time. I would recommend this to anyone interested in visiting the Big Buddha, seeing the magnificent temple, and experiencing the history of the 500 year Tai O village. If you get lucky as I did, you may even spot the rare pink dolphins during your boat ride (which does require an additional nominal fee from a local boat service). I plan to return again with my family for this same tour once again!

Perfect day at Lantau - We had a perfect day visiting Lantau, the Big Buddha and Tai O village with Alexandra. She is gentle, knowledgeable and a lovely person to learn from and to be guided by. We very much enjoyed our time with her visiting this beautiful green and calm island and gaining insider knowledge. I couldn't recommend her and a visit to Lantau more!

Hong Kong - Day trip including Buda and Fishing Vilage Tai O - Our guide Stephanie was great. Very punctual, she arrived a bit earlier than agreed to pick us up.
We did an itinerary that involved a cable car ride, a visit to the Buddha, and then we went down to the fishing village of Tai O.
At all times, Stephanie explained what we were seeing, the reasons behind each thing, and engaged us with the local history. From simple things like the history of the airport's construction or the bridge to Macau, to more historical aspects such as the Opium Wars and the constitution of Hong Kong.
Furthermore, her knowledge as a guide helped us optimize the tour, avoiding queues and the busiest times at attractions, which not only saved time but also made the tour more relaxed and stress-free.
I highly recommend taking this tour with Stephanie.

Great, personalized tour - we did the private walking tour of lantau island, including the big buddha and tai o village. Our guide (Alex) really tried to find special things to entertain our young girls, pointed out good locations to try street food, and found us a nice spot for lunch on the beach. Having a guide was great, because navigating the queues for the cable car aren't straight forward and she was able to show us more of the village than we would have explored on our own. Unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins but that is a gamble with any tour. Though we had younger children (5-7), there is a lot of walking on this tour (probably around 10K steps) and it wouldn't work well with strollers. We only did this one tour with the company but Alex was very knowledgeable about the city and could likely do a great job with any of their tours.

Lantau island private tour - Alex was a wonderful tour guide who gave us a private tour of Lantau Island and Tai O. She was very informative and passed on to us a lot of information about The history of Hong Kong and Lantau Island, the people, and culture. We explored with Alex by foot, subway, cable car and ferry which helped to immerse us in the everyday life on the islands. We highly recommend booking your next tour with Alex. Awesome guide!!

THE TOUR WAS GREAT!!! STEPHANIE WAS AMAZING!!! - What an incredible way to experience the beauty of Lantau Island!!!
We met STEPHANIE (our SUPERB GUIDE) at our hotel. She led us to the MTA subway for an enjoyable ride to the Lantau Island Cable Car. We then took at 25 minute cable car ride to view the Giant Buddha... an incredible sight!!!
We climbed the 266 steps for an up close and personal view of the Buddha.
Stephanie then led us on a tour of the Monastery and then on to a small boat ride to Tai O Village. We toured this amazing village and ate a delicious lunch at a unique and atmospheric local eatery.
After lunch, we continued our tour of Tai O Village. We visited a Taoist Temple and then took a bus to the MTA and rode the MTA back to Kowloon.
Stephanie then led us to the Lady's Market, just a few blocks from our hotel.
Thanks to Stephanie, it was truly a great day!!!

Great day in Lantau and O Tai Village - Lovely and informative day started when Stephanie picked my parents and me up in the lobby and having Stephanie to help quickly get on the right tubes was great and time saving as was the fact that having a guide meant you skipped queues. The journey to Lantau was smooth and getting to know each other. The cable journey to Lantau is definitely worth it and the big Buddha is a wonderful sight from all angles, sadly it's become quite touristy in the vicinity and I hadn't realised how new it all was nevertheless worth going to. From there we headed to O Tai village and again having Stephanie as a guide helped as she knew the exact times of the buses etc although never felt rushed and she always allowed for us to take our time. The village was lovely, very authentic and as we chose not to have a proper sit down lunch, Stephanie took us to a lovely coffee shop as well as a Temple which may not always be visited, in fact there was nobody there and me managed to have a go at the Spitting Bowl! Overall, we had a lovely day and learnt a lot especially in the Village where Stephanie recounted of some of the people she herself had met there and the way they lived, etc. Thanks Stephanie! And of course to Hong Kong a' la Carte!
