It was a great way to see... - It was a great way to see Hong Kong in a 6 hour period. The tour covered a mix of historical and contemporary experiences and the Dim Sum lunch was great. Gary was an excellent guide with a lot of knowledge to share.

Whiplash tour - Unfortunately, thé iteneray described is way too much for a six hour span of time. Our guide spent most of the tour quickly walking past things to show them and moving on. Or in some cases just point thé direction they were and left it up to us to go find it. The tram up the hill was not done at all and our tour guide gave us the ticket and basically said good luck. When our guide was giving information it was interesting but there were a few times he sat away from us and said nothing during the journey. I am usually quite happy with tours, but this one felt very rushed and only informative if you dug it out of our guide.

Disappointing Tour Choice! - Where to start!! Firstly, it was a surprise to hear that the tour was a full walking tour, regardless of how small the distance may have been. It should be clearer in the blurb! Secondly, I arrived at the meeting sport at 10.23am to find that the guide - Gary, had tried to ring me and had messaged to ask where I was because I was 'late'! The tour started at 10.30am. Thirdly, we had literally only just left the starting point when we stopped for the Egg Tart and a Milk Tea. It was absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary. Lastly, there was way too much trivial talking by Gary about irrelevant, non-sensical things. Who cares how many 7 eleven's there are in Hong Kong, and the fact that Gary's son won't go out for dinner with him - he would rather go to McDonalds. Some of the site we visited were very interesting but there was a complete imbalance of how long we stayed at some venues vs others. We were constantly rushed through interesting sites only to be spoken at for way too long about other things. The tour itself could have been all over and done with in 1.5 hours. That would have been ok. And, then, to get to the last part of the tour which was the Peak tram, only to find that at the building at the top we still had to pay extra to get outside. Plus, the tour says 'including' in the price, for activities that are actually FOC. On the positive, most of the sites visited were worthwhile, and the lunch was authentic. But, I would recommend visiting the sites under your own steam, in a timeframe that would be relevant to the distance covered. I will not be recommending this tour to anyone!
