A good cruise ship excursion for a day - We visited on a day trip with a cruise ship. This was a fun trip with several interesting stops, great for our family with teens. None of the stops are too long which is good, the beach stop was the longest. There were good lunches at the beachside restaurants and drinks too, we ate at one and there was plenty of shaded tables and beach chairs & umbrellas (which you pay for extra). There are also plenty of water sports at that beach: jet skis, parasailing, banana boat rides, snorkeling tours to the reef offshore which is a 5 minute boat ride all at reasonable prices, though you can haggle a bit on price. The water was calm and clear for us in June 2025.

Our experiance was... - Our experiance was excellent. Big J, our driver, was amazing. He took us exactly where we were advertised to go, we got to do everything we wanted, and then, when we wanted to cut our beach break short, he took us back to the trip. 10/10. Would book again.

We enjoyed having alternatives given by guide to see a local tour as it was too windy to go to beach. - The guide was very knowledgeable and professional. The sloth and mo keys were nice. Our pictures were great.

Fun time in Roatan. - Our driver Elon was excellent. If and when I go back I’d like to request him. Great job..great personality. He took us around and every stop he was right with us.

1000% recommend!!! - This was a great way to spend the day off our ship in Roatan. Fabian was our guide and he did a fabulous job. Lots of information as we traveled through. He took great care of us the whole time and we always felt very safe. He even helped us arrange a guided snorkel last minute at West Bay. We will absolutely use him again on our next visit.

Amazing Experience - It was great from the beginning to the end. Fabian was very informative and took great care of us while in his company. He made sure as tourist we didn’t get taken advantage of and went out his way to fulfill our request. This was a great excursion and we would definitely recommend and book again with this company for future trips. Run don’t walk to enjoy a great experience and a wealth of knowledge.

Excellent Tour! - Roatan Breakaway Tours is a small, family owned company that provided us with a wonderful tour of the island. JJ, our guide, was very professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We loved the animal park and getting to see the West side of the island. I have done a lot of tours over the years, and this was one of the best! I would definitely use Roatan Breakaway tours again. We had a great day in Roatan.

We loved this tour! The... - We loved this tour! The animal sanctuary was great and we loved getting to see the monkeys and the sloth! Chocolate factory and rum store was ok! And then West Beach was perfect! Overall a great tour and Omar, our guide was wonderful! He was funny and knowledgeable and let us stop when we wanted to check something else out!

What you get does not match the description. - Driver was stuck in traffic. Watched people arrive after us leavw before us. Due to laws changing. You do not hold the monkeys or sloth. Rum cake factory & chocolate factory are just stores.
