During the journey, the bus will pass by rice fields and vegetable farms, offering a wonderful opportunity to capture countryside photos, including farmers with water buffalo.
- Tho Ha Village - After an hour’s drive, guests will arrive at the local ferry, board it to cross the river, and reach Tho Ha village. A walk around the village will reveal a typical Northern Vietnamese market. Visitors will quickly gain insight into the local culture, observing people and sampling some local delicacies. Guests will visit families to learn more about their culture and daily activities, such as making rice paper and rice wine. A brief visit to Tho Ha Communal House will provide a glimpse into the village’s past, with familiar sights like the Banian tree, a well, and a communal yard. The tour guide will offer a brief introduction to the village’s culture and historical lifestyle. A highlight of the visit is meeting a local family who still handcrafts rice paper, unlike most families in the area who now use electric machines for production. The host will also play some folk music while guests enjoy Vietnamese tea in their home.
- Old Quarter - After the visit, guests will bid farewell to the host and return to Hanoi. They will be dropped off at their hotels or the morning meeting points. This marks the end of the trip.

A great trip - Our group had a wonderful visit to Tho Ha Village, famous for its rice paper making. Exploring the traditional production process was fascinating, and the local market added a splash of colour to our trip . The warm hospitality of the villagers mad ethe experience even more special. a great trip , highly recommended to culture and food enthusiasts

Knowlegable guide - Visiting Tho Ha traditional craft village to learn about rice paper making and exploring the local maket gave us a memorable experience of the place. The vibrant culture, friendly locals and attractive handicrafts were captivating. Special thanks to our tour guide Hung whose insight and enthusiasm made the trip truly memorable. This trip was the perfect combination of learning and adventure.

Great tour guide - During our visit to Tho Ha Village, famous for its rice paper making, we explored the local market and learned about the traditions of the villagers. Our tour guide was fantastic, connecting us with the locals and helping us experience their warmth and hospitality. Seeing the rice paper making process first hand was fascinating, making this trip both educational and memorable.

A destination not to be missed - Visting Tho HaCraft Village was the most memorable trip. We explored the traditional art of rice paper making and learned about the meticulous process from the locals. Shopping at the vibrant local market , offering many unique items. Our to guide was extremely friendly, with excellent communication skills, making the experience more engaging and enjoyable.
