- Perfume Pagoda - At 10:00 am, arrive at Duc Wharf and begin a 40-minute rowing boat journey along the Yen River to Thien Tru Wharf. Enjoy a cable car ride to visit the main cave, Huong Tich, located at the mountain’s peak, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. The Perfume Pagoda, locally known as Chua Huong or the ‘inner temple,’ is a revered site with a network of primarily Buddhist temples nestled into the limestone cliffs of Huong Tich. At the heart of this complex is the Perfume Temple or Perfume Pagoda within the Huong Tich Cave. It is believed that the first temple was constructed in the 15th century, though legend suggests the site was discovered over 2,000 years ago by a meditating Buddhist monk. The mountain foothills are a region of remarkable natural and spiritual beauty, featuring streams, tropical plants, and temples.
- Thien Tru Pagoda - After enjoying lunch at a nearby local restaurant, visit Thien Tru Pagoda, also known as Heaven Kitchen Pagoda. Over time, Thien Tru Pagoda has been enhanced with unique architectural designs, creating a magnificent natural scene. Exploring Thien Tru Pagoda is undoubtedly one of the most memorable experiences in Hanoi. Built in 1467 under King Le Thanh Tong, the pagoda is situated on a rectangular piece of land with a steep courtyard leading to a wall that separates the flat land from the mountain behind. The architectural style, known as “5 entrance with 3 steps,” contributes to making Thien Tru Pagoda a captivating tourist attraction in Hanoi. As one of Hanoi’s most renowned pagodas, Thien Tru Pagoda boasts exceptionally unique architectural features.
- Old Quarter - Return to Duc Wharf and head back to Hanoi, arriving at the hotel around 6:00 pm, marking the end of the Perfume Pagoda one-day tour.
