- Thung Khe Pass - Pause for a scenic photo opportunity of the Muong tribes at Thung Khe Pass, offering a breathtaking view of Mai Chau Valley. Thung Khe Pass is a remarkable mountain pass in Mai Chau, traversed when traveling from Hanoi to Mai Chau and onward to Moc Chau. Many travelers may not know its name, but it is a unique journey. Near the summit, there are several small restaurants and shops with thatched roofs, tables, chairs, and hot teapots ready for visitors. These shops, located near the edge, are also known as the Thung Khe market. Buses from Hanoi often stop here for refreshments and to enjoy the view. It can be quite chilly, and sometimes clouds obscure the view. At the “market,” visitors can purchase food and local products.
- Mai Chau - Arrive in Mai Chau at 11:30. Enjoy a scenic photo stop at Mai Chau Valley along the way. Guests are welcomed by the host with a cup of tea. Relax and savor a delightful lunch with a local Thai family (lunch is not included. If guests wish to have lunch with the local family, they should ask the tour guide to contact them to pre-order after being picked up. It typically costs 10 USD per person).
- Lac Village - At 13:00, begin a cycling tour with a local guide around Lac Village and Pom Coong Village. Observe farmers working in the fields, locals weaving scarves, and visit the surrounding peaceful village, considered a living museum.
- Hanoi Opera House - At 15:00, bid farewell to the local family and depart Mai Chau to return to Hanoi.
19:00 Arrive back in Hanoi. Guests will be dropped off at their hotels or the same locations as the morning pick-up. End of the trip.

The trip was well organized - My group had a great trip to Mai Chau. We booked the day trip and it was really enjoyable. Although it was a long drive, it was worth it, we were really satisfied with the trip. My group had a great tour guide , Mr. Lee and an experienced driver. Lunch at a local homestay was perfect. Everything was very well organized.

The best trips in Vietnam - Mai Chau was absolutely stunning, the scenery was breathtaking. I hiked through lush green valleys, passed peaceful rice paddies and cycled through charming Thai villages. The highlight was enjoying a delicious traditional meal in a local Thai village where we experienced their warm hospitality. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing stories about the culture and history of Mai Chau . This day tour was the perfect way to immerse yourself in nature while learning about the rich heritage of the area

It was truly a perfec trip - The journey to Mai Chau was truly memorable. Walking and cycling through the pristine landscapes, we immersed ourselves in the peaceful beauty and fresh air of this charming land. The simplicity and rustic charm of Mai Chau left a deep impression. A special thanks to Trung, our tour guide , whose expertise and kindness made the trip even more memorable. it was truly a perfect trip immersed in nature.

Worst Tour Ever! - Worst Tour We Have Ever Taken!!! Company didn’t contact us so I called them night before tour to confirm. They confirmed. This was a private tour for 2 with a driver and guide. The guide arrived with his brother wanting him to come along. There was no room in the 4 seat sedan car for another person and we said no! The guide had clearly never been to Mai Chau! He had not arranged a meal with a local family, did not have bike rentals confirmed and DID NOT KNOW THE AREA!!!!! He tried to use Google to find a bike route. He had no information to provide in depth information about local lives. Most disappointing tour ever! The tour lasted 10.5 hours only because of traffic while it was advertised for 12-13. Guide tried to throw in a couple cave stops but they weren’t open and were not ever on the itinerary. The driver got us there safely in wild traffic. Tour ended with guide saying we had a “compulsory tip” that he was required to return to the office. A day in Viet Nam that could have been amazing but was not!!!
