Luxury or not, subjective - A two days one night cruise is more than enough. This is not your typical cruise on bigger ship. Do also check on the boat/ship name beforehand as the company operates a fleet. Overall nice experience

A great trip - The staff and the boat were excellent and the scenery magnificent. We had a great time! Only concern about the trip is the emptying of bilge tanks by numerous boats in the same area - not very sustainable, surely.

Superb Overnight Luxury Cruise on Halong Bay - A Truly Memorable Experience - The Le Journey Luxury Cruise is an Overnight Cruise on the Scenic Halong Bay and is Truly a Must Do when in Hanoi. Everything is Included and Very Well Organized, right from early morning pick-up at your Hotel to transfer by Coach to the Pier, then transfer to the Cruise Ship by Motorboat, Overnight Stay in a Luxury Suite on the Cruise Ship with all Meals (Lunch, Evening Tea, Dinner, next Morning Breakfast and a Sumptuous Brunch before Disembarking), trip to the Halong Bay Caves by Row Boats and also to the Bay for Swimming and Kayaking, then return to the Pier by Motorboat and transfer back to your Hotel by Coach. It is an Amazing Experience. The Suite is Large, Very Luxuriously Appointed with a Comfortable King Sized Bed, Study Table, Chairs, Center Table, Wardrobe, Large Bathroom with a Spacious Shower Area with Running Hot & Cold Water. The Amenities in the Suite are also Very Good with Nice Towels, Soaps, etc and an Electric Kettle with Coffee/Tea/Milk/Sugar Sachets as well. The Food is Outstanding and the Spread is Great with a 5 Course Sit Down Dinner too. The Staff are Very Well Trained, are Very Hospitable and keep you Well Entertained. Can't really find any Negatives here. This is indeed an Experience of a Lifetime and a Must Do whenever you are in Hanoi.

Good time for me - I have a pleasant stay in the cruise with a 3 days 2 nights package. Lan Ha Bay is different from Ha Long Bay, not so many activities but it's a very relaxing trip, lying on my terrace balcony is exceptional feelings. Good time, would defenitely come back next year to try out Ha Long Bay

Lovely Halong bay - The food was nice but it didn’t come out all together. The happy hour doesn’t include beers or soft drinks it was cocktails only. Don’t believe the chat about not buying from the boat sellers who come up up to the boat - really cheap in comparison to the ridiculous boat prices and they don’t rip you off. Room was lovely, kayak trip was fine (old beaten up kayaks but ok), squid fishing never happened and cookery demonstration was by the tour guide but was ok. Swimming was nice the downside at night was the loud Karaoke boats moored nearby spoiling the enjoyment of the night in your balcony

No sightseeing to cave and island like other cruise but the view was amazing so overall, a good experience. - The Cruise was really good. Our executive cabin was huge with balcony and bathtub with mesmerizing view. BUT THEY DIDN'T TAKE US TO ANY CAVE AND TO ANY ISLAND FOR SWIMMING AS MENTIONED IN THE ITINERARY. On the firat day, they took us to do kayaking or bamboo boat and same the second day, they took us for kayaking again. They told us that we can go for swimming but in the middle of sea, not on a beach. And the check-in time is 2pm and the check-out time was 9.30 am. It was also little disappointing.But still, it was really a good experience because nothing can beat the view.

Too expensive, too litle time to enjoy - 100% satisfied with the room, exactly like the photos. Food was great also! The reasons why rate this experience low are the following: 1) the bay is full of litter and trash, 2) no existence of wi-fi in our room / meals room, 3) less than 24h experience (it is only 1 afternoon and 1 morning in the boat).

DECEPTIVE BAIT & SWITCH COMPANY WITH BED BUGS - This company sells you on experience that does not match the reality of what they are delivering. The scenery is beautiful but it was hard to enjoy when you felt like you were getting scammed. We were very disappointed with the cruise and it almost seemed comical how it was just one thing after another that went wrong for us and so many other guests we spoke to. We had many issues with the boat starting with it not being the one we were sold and the issues onboard such as the power/ac going out, foul odor from the bathroom, lower than expected accommodations and meals. The cruise is sold as a luxurious 5 star experience but it was absolutely not. The boat is in disrepair. The biggest issue is that we were bitten by bed bugs during our stay. The tour operator should also immediately take measures to decontaminate that boat and unfortunately the problem is probably much more widespread given how the company operates and has some guests being transferred between boats between their first and second nights. If you book Le Journey, Amanda, La Pinta, Lotus d’orient, or a Hera cruise you will all be on the same boat. It seems as if they market the same boat under multiple different entities.

Journey from hell - Booked a cruise with these guys only to find it was a absolute scam No A/C no entertainment no hot water The lost goes on when we complained we felt like it was our fault because we chose them Don’t book with this company you will regret it
