Very yummy and fresh!!! - This tour was very excellent! Highly recommended!! Mai our guide was very knowledgeable and took us to great places for local vietnamese foods. My favorite was the Banh Mi( the bread was so fresh and fluffy) . So good! Our kids enjoyed the two desserts that we tried as well. This tour will not disappoint you! Happy tasting!!!

Good on the edge - The food was awesome, the street traffic insane, my head was on a swivel the whole time. When I thought I could eat no more, there was super smooth coconut icecream and fabulous flan. The only thing to be aware of is if your knees are bad, all the chairs are super low, maybe 8 inches to 1 foot high. We never would have found these places on our own or tried them by the looks of them. We went 2 days ago. Super fun. Really glad we went. Our guide Luke was friendly, had good explanations of the street food culture and a guidelines for picking one to try and... he was good at getting us all across the street.

An experience for all the senses, highly recommended - It was a wonderful experience. Minh introduced us not only to the culinary delights of the small kitchens but also to his Hanoi and life in his city with a lot of love and passion. The tour was fascinating from start to finish. Many thanks to Minh for the tour and also for the valuable tips for our further journey.

Fantastic tour with Mai - We did a tour with Mai. She was excellent. Spoke English extremely well and took us to the best places in Hanoi. We loved every single dish. She learned about what we had already tried in Ho Chi Minh so we didn't double up on dishes and told us so much about how to eat street food safely and other bits of interesting info. Great tour. Highly recommend.

As soon as you get to Hanoi do this Food Tour! - As soon as you get to Hanoi do this Food Tour! Not only did we eat delicious food we also learned about what we were eating and how to eat it! It helped me choose other places to eat and identify what types of food I was seeing.

Disappointed - we could have done this ourselves at a fraction of the cost - Disappointed with this tour. Guide on her phone much of the time, and stopped at the 5th stop as she was unwell. Summer rolls and dry pho were good. 3rd stop involved slimy noodle pastry and eggs hard cooked in a broth- really not very nice. Bahn Mi was lacking in flavour (certainly compared with other ones we had tasted when we bought them ourselves). We ate much better food choosing ourselves on the rest of our trip. If you are happy to try local food, you will probably do better on your own. I wish we had just done that.
