A great tour - We were met at the Tuan Chau International Marina terminal at Halong Bay as arranged. Everything went smoothly. Boarded the boat, seafood lunch as really good. We went Bamboo rafting and then through the big cave that was really spectacular. Boat crew were great and looked after us well. Would recommend this cruise. David & Shirley, Australia.

Worth it. An enjoyable outing at an easy going pace. - Our guide, Tinh or Mr. T if it's easier, was great. He spoke good, clear English, was fun and had good energy but wasn't overwhelming at all. He was well organized, shared helpful information at appropriate times and otherwise allowed us to go at our own pace and meet back within specific time frames. At the start of the bus ride we were each given a free bottle of water. On the way to and on the way back we stopped for a break which allowed time for restroom and souvenir shopping without pressure to buy. There were some women working on hand woven art and there was plenty of quality work to choose from besides other products. He handled the purchase of our tickets upon arrival at Halong Bay. For young children, they charge based on age and or max height. So if you have a young child (I had my 6yr old), don't be surprised if they ask you for your child's birthdate and height measurement. The lunch provided and served family style on the boat was delicious and they filled groups at tables quickly so we didn't have to think about where we should sit. Just a reminder that you should bring cash because the drinks are not free. At the cave, he gave us the option to follow him for a guided tour or to go through it on our own and meet at the end. At the fishing village we had the option to kayak or to ride in the rowboat in which case it would be customary to tip the rower. Halong Bay is a beautiful sight. It was relaxing to go up on top of the small boat with plenty of space to take in the sights. On the drive as you approach closer to the entrance, we noticed new hotel development in the works including a big waterpark in the area. I'm glad I was able to visit Halong Bay before that development is completed. I can only imagine how crowded the place will be in the years ahead. There were a lot of boats out in the bay but not so much yet to ruin the splendor of the place. On our return ride back to the hotel he was clear about the route and drop off spots so that we would be prepared when it was our turn to hop off. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Way better than even expected - We did the one day trip to Ha Long Bay. The bus picked us up at our Hostel in the Old Quater. The trip to Ha Long takes ca. 4h, the big Bus had enough leg space for me(I am 6‘3“). The stop on the way to Ha Long and back is a little bit unnecessary but at least you get the chance to use a restroom. The cruise itself was great. Our guide UY was amazing. He was always looking after us to make sure we have a great time and had a lot of interesting information. The 4 hour cruise give you a pretty good impression of Ha Long Bay. The food on board was good and plenty. The cave tour was alright (it was my least favorite part of the tour but UY tried his best to make it more interesting by telling a lot of facts). My favorite thing was the kayaking part, I’d definitely recommend taking a kayak and not a bamboo boat. You get to kayak on your own and explore a little bit.

Amazing! - Great day from start to finish! The bus was comfy and the tour guide Benjamin was friendly and really funny! The tour itself didn’t feel rushed and was really efficient! The food was great and the boat trip and bamboo boat will live long in my mind. HaLong Bay is a must see and we are really glad we chose to go with Benjamin and his tour company. Incredible experience.

Beautiful Ha Long Bay excellent Guide - Our guide Cong was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us just the right blend of history, culture, geography and personal anecdote. The bus trip was very long (4 hours to drive 160km and the seats a bit cramped. The catering for lunch was very good, and most attentive to my dietary needs which was most welcome. The scenery was stunning. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone.

Amazing day around Halong Bay! - Just a fantastic tour to Halong Bay. Thanks to our awesome guide, Cong, who gave us a bunch of info about what we would see, plus help all through the trip, it was as educational as it was fun and beautiful. The first entrance into the Bay is gorgeous. And yes, there are a gajillion boats...but you don’t even notice them. It’s just beautiful in every direction. Next up is the cave. It’s a fairly well manicured cave, with a paved footpath etc, but it’s super well lit so you can see details even up in the high areas. Then we did the kayaking OR bamboo boat cruise. Take my word, choose the kayaking option!!! When you get inside that first laguna, it’s so peaceful...and under your own locomotion, you can just take as much time as you want. Best activity day I’ve had this year. Worth every penny. And thanks, Cong.

Very good value day-trip - They communicate with you the day of to ensure pick-up spot and timing. The bus ride was long but it was comfortable and in good condition. You stop at one location for bio breaks. You get fed immediately on-board. The food was just okay, I guess we were expecting better because it's right next to the harbor. We head out to see Ha Long bay but it was at quite the slower pace. The views were fantastic and the weather held up so we were fortunate. We went to the island and hiked up the short stairs and through the caves. Then we went to a discreet location for a private boat ride through some hidden lagoons. This is the highlight in my opinion (bring some cash as they expect a tip). Then we came back, bused to Ha Noi, and returned. The tour guide tried his best to engage us but wasn't too organized in his thoughts so it seemed to drag at times. My group size was about 40 people which is too many to enjoy the scenery. Overall, I enjoyed my trip and my decision to go with this company but if others are contemplating visiting Ha Long bay, then I would suggest you do a 2D1N as you'll experience the sites more better.

Halong Bay - Early pick around 8.0am very long day arriving back at around 8.30pm The down side to this tour is the travel time over 8hrs including 2 stops. The tour its self was good seeing the wondrous sites of Halong bay. We particularly enjoyed the caves we took the option to be taken by a local man rowing the boat. The main larger cave system was a walk through around 20 minutes I found very interesting. All in all a good tour except the travel time the better option would be a 2 day tour to break up the time traveling.
