Best Massage Ever - Jerry greeted us warmly and helped us make our choices. He served us hot tea and cookies to begin and helped us feel comfortable. Jessica was professional and incredible! This was the best massage I've ever had! Hot stones, warm towels, silk robes!! I highly recommend the hot stones and facial. Jessica the masseuse gave me one of the strongest massages I have ever had, it was incredible. Not to mention the absolutely beautiful building. A must in Hanoi!

Worst massage experience ever - If I could give zero stars, I would. This spa was a huge let down. We particularly researched a number of spas in Hanoi and landed on this one to end our last day in Hanoi. First of all, the person who first received us kept on interrupting us as we were looking at the menu. It was quite annoying and this is where we should have stopped proceeding with getting services from this place. I understand if they were trying to be helpful but you really need to give space to people, maybe provide some initial suggestions and check in once, not interrupt every 30 seconds. Secondly, I have received many massages, from professional registered massage therapists to experienced masseuse so I know when one is truly experienced or just being lazy. Unfortunately, the masseuse assigned to me lacked skills. I selected the deep tissue massage and asked the spa to assign someone who can apply strong pressure. When it came to the time for the massage, i have never been frustrated on a massage table as I was with this masseuse. She kept on using lazy strokes with her palm, not using deep pressure techniques. Several times I turned around to tell her that I really needed deep pressure only to be met with rolling eyes. She also stepped away from the massage table several times leaving me on the table which is not a normal practice i have experienced elsewhere leading me to think that she was trying to kill time. For a place that advertises itself as a highly reviewed, which by now I suspect are probably bought reviews which seems to be a practice in this region. At the end I expressed my feedback to the manager who was very receptive to the feedback but this does not change the experience and the 90 minutes of precious vacation time spent frustrated on a massage table. A HUGE let down. A 5% discount at the end doesnt nearly make up for this entire experience. I wouldn't recommend this place or the masseuse who I am very tempted to name but I will not.
