  • 6:30: Pick up from the hotel in the Ha Noi Old Quarter.
    7:15: Depart to Ban Gioc Waterfall

    12:45 -13:00 You will have lunch at a local restaurant.
    After lunch, continue the journey to Ban Gioc Waterfall (one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world). You have time to enjoy the beautiful scenery here. You can try travelling by boat near the waterfall (self-paid).

Nguom Ngao Cave - 12:45 -13:00 You will have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, continue the journey to Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave). And then get back on the bus and keep journeying to the hotel near Ban Gioc waterfall - Cao Bang province
16:30: Check-in the hotel and relax.
18:30: Have dinner at the hotel/local restaurant.

Ban Gioc Pagoda

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - 7:00: Have breakfast and check-out
8:00: The driver and guide pick you up from the hotel to visit Ban Gioc Pagoda. From here, you can take a magnificent view above of Ban Gioc Waterfall. After that, we go to Angle’s Eye Mountain.
Come back to the car to visit Angle’s Eye Mountain which has a through hole (Thung Mountain, which is located in Quang Uyen District).
12:00: Have lunch at local restaurant in Quang Uyen District, Cao Bang.
After lunch, you will get on the bus to come back to Hanoi.
18:30: Arrive in Hanoi.

The Ban Gioc falls takes the crown as the biggest and most attractive cascade in Vietnam, situated in the northeastern Cao Bang province. It also holds the status of being the grandest and broadest waterfall in Asia, pouring down three levels from a height of 30 meters and nearly 300 feet across. Ban Gioc has earned a reputation as one of the top four international border waterfalls globally, and notably one of the most renowned in Vietnam. Over the past few years, it has seen an influx of visitors from around the world coming to take in its distinctively appealing, organic charm.

Nice experience - We spent two very intense days, in the first we went to visit the pagoda of ban Gioc at sunset. The next day we went to visit Nguom Cave and Ban Gioc Falls. Our Guide was very friendly and well prepared. In the afternoon we reached the Eye’s mountain where we bathed in the small waterfall and doing sup in the pond. We ended the evening with the barbecue and spent the night camping. Small tip: the road to get there is full of hairpin bends, so if you suffer from car sickness, take care!

Extremely Satisfying Ban Gioc experience - BAN GIOC FALLS - overnight stay. We went from Hanoi to Ban Gioc and returned next day. This trip was very nicely handled by Mr Dustin. He took us to all the right places and great spots and also shared lots of information about the locations and its heritage. He took care of everything superbly, journey, stops, food, & guided us like a friend in everything. He is well spoken, knowledgeable and always supportive if you request for anything.

The best tour with the best guide - This tour was incredible, we had pretty high expectations with the photos and everything we heard about the region, and it was just perfect, really feel authentic due to the guide Freddy, he showed us some good spot, take us where people usually don’t go, and it was truly incredible. Prepare yourself to see the real Vietnam with him.

An amazing experience in Cao Bang - Freddy, the guide, was amazing, we had a wonderful experience. The places we visited were just so beautiful and the explications were very interesting. The different activities we made were so good. The places were we stopped to eat and sleep were great too. I recommend the experience!

Please do this! Excellent quality!! - Our guide Luan was fantastic!! Super explanatory, fun to be around, and he did such an excellent job. He explained so much Vietnamese history and about the rice fields and everything we saw. This felt like the most authentic tour we’ve done here in Vietnam. 100% recommend.

Ban Gioc waterfall - It was a wonderful view. It was hidden on the border with China. The hotel couldn't help but be pretty. Please bring medicine if you get carsick because the road is bent.

Shoutout to Mr Duc - My solo trip to Ban Gioc Waterfall and Angel eye Moutain in Cao Bằng was truly remarkable! Ban Gioc Waterfall is not only one of Vietnam’s most beautiful waterfalls but also a gem in Southeast Asia. The surrounding landscape is mesmerizing. Angel eye Moutain is about 50 km from Cao Bằng city. It features a unique natural tunnel piercing through the mountain. The scenery here is enchanting. Shoutout to Huynh Duc, one of the best tour guides I have ever met. He has helped me beyond my trip, ensuring my solo trip went as smoothly as possible. His knowledge, kindness and genuine nature, I can honestly say this has been an amazing experience. Thank you for your help!

OVERNIGHT EXCURSION WORTH THE DRIVE - Traveling in 4 different Asaian countries for the last 5 weeks and this was DEFINITELY the best tour for 2 reasons. You will visit 2 different places in 2 days that you are unable to see ANYWHERE else ! The BAN GIOC water falls AND NGUOM NGAO cave were our top places we visited because they were so UNIQUE and INCREDIBLE. Lot's of Temples, holy places, museums, night markets, Palaces but I promise you will not find these NATURE places anywhere else. Be prepared for a long (6hour ride each day but worh it) The second reason was our local guide Huỳnh Đức (we called him Dustin). Nice, Knowledgeable, AND offered to answer ALL of our questions about the tour and VIETNAM. He was FANTASTIC !

Northern Vietnam - The Angel Eye mountain, the pagodas, the Roaring Tiger Cave and the Waterfalls were amazing. The hotel was very clean, neat, had good air conditioning and great hot water. Our driver was very good, Freddy our tour guide was very good. I will say though the bus used I think is not suitable for a 7 hour trip, uncomfortable.

Worth the drive - Wonderful experience. Dustin was a great guide and 5 stars to the driver, it's a lot of driving in 2 days. The lunch on the second day was amazing.
