The best experience in Vietnam - Sapa tours - The best northern Vietnam tours. It was absolutly perfect! Our guide, Mr Suu was very nice to us., all the time with very good information about what we were visiting, and also recommend us very good restaurants. The trekking in the rice fields, the villages, Fansipan mountain with cable car... everything amazing. We want to recommend this tour to all! Sapa homestay was wonderful - Loaded with scenic beauty and fascinating interactions with the locals. Treated in a very warm and hospitable manner by our host family. Xoa, our guide and host, made us feel at home. It was wonderful meeting her family. We learned so much about the lives they lead as we trekked through the countryside.

Great experience. Worth it if you only have a couple of days to spare - The journey to sapa from Hanoi was in a comfortable sleeper bus. The local guides trek was the highlight of the trip. We were guided by xoa who was knowledgeable and very accommodating to our needs.

Unforgettable Trip.. love it. - Totally enjoyed the trip to Sapa Valley. Special thanks to ZerZer my local guide. She speaks good English and hosted me well during the homestay. The room was very clean and I totally enjoyed the view of Sapa Valley from her home. And liked her cooking as well!

Great trekking adventure! - Make sure you're expectations aren't too high. It was an amazing trek the first and second day and the homestay was good fro just one night. There was some miscommunication betweeen the tour provider, the hotel and us so exploring Sapa town was moved a day earlier. The third day was nothing like what was on the itinerary. We went to the Ham Rong Mountain which on a nice day you can see the whole town but this day was very misty and visibility was low. Our tour guide for that day was not very good and we ended up loosing her and just finding a coffee shop to sit at. We were disappointed we never got to see the waterfall mentioned in the itinerary. Overall, the first day and half of the second day were the best part of the tour while the rest was just average.

This tour had its ups and downs. To... -
This tour had its ups and downs. To get from Hanoi to Sapa is about a 6 hour drive with a break of 20 minutes included. Our sleeper bus had no wi-fi or toilet paper. Take the right shoes for trekking. The homestay was horrible, thankfully my guide Lala and the view from H'mong hotel made up for it.

Trip was Average/Poor - The Bus pick up from Hanoi was efficient and awesome. The 15KM trekking was amazing. However, recommended that you get proper shoes and be physically ready for the hike. The homestay was good, food and hospitality was good as well. The trekking on the second day was brilliant up to the point where we got our hotel room. Our hotel H’Mong Hotel (“3 Star”) was absolutely horrendous.. Broken Toilet, Unclean room, smelly bedsheets and more broken stuff all around.. The food provided in the hotel was not up to standard.. rather eat outside.. In conclusion, our hotel stay sucks.. my advice to you is to get the 2D 1N homestay and then leave Sapa. The Cat Cat village is a waste of time if you went for the 15KM trek to the villages and back. The trek is more than enough to enjoy the beauty of Sapa.
