Here’s a draft for your... - Here’s a draft for your review: We had an incredible time kayaking through the mangroves with Larry as our guide! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience for our family. Larry pointed out fascinating wildlife, including sharks, and showed us some really cool shells. We even managed to catch a fish, which thrilled both my 9 yr old daughter and 11-yr-old son! He took the time to answer all of our questions while sharing fun facts about the ecosystem. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and we can’t recommend Larry enough for anyone looking for a fun, educational, and memorable kayaking experience. Thank you, Larry!

We definately would do it again! - Great time, informative & fun personality from our guide. We did the latest tour, so we didn't see as much as we hoped, but that is nature. My kids say it was the best tour we did on the trip and would love to do it again, but would like to try it at dusk or during the day.

Moon lit paddle - Well worth it. Dan gave us great instructions how to deal with the strong winds which was only for 5 minutes of the trip each way to get to the calm waters. Lots of interesting informational facts and stories about the critters above and below the surface and the areas history. Swim suits and water shoes recommended

Having family’s trip get... - Having family’s trip get cancelled a few days prior and rescheduled for Dec 23 at 630pm. We decided we would them and get out to enjoy the experience. Yet again 30 mins before meeting at the dock they messaged us“truck iissues and they will be cancelling again” . We can either rebook or receive a refund. We chose for a refund and still awaiting. After talking with some other tour groups and trying to rebook our evening last minute. We found out this apparently this is the first time this company leaves its clients high and dry.

Boat sank, guide left us, and not even an apology - On Saturday, November 9, 2024 my boyfriend, Michael Alcorn and I, Rachel Machtay, attended the night time kayaking tour with Amy and her assistant JD. We arrived for the push off after receiving a text mentioning that due to wind direction we’d be leaving from a different location. Amy had called to make sure we’d be there, and when we arrived she handed me a clipboard and asked us to please sign in on a sheet that had every attendee by group. About half way through the water began getting a little rough. My boyfriend and I’s kayak suddenly started sinking near an old dock that was clearly damaged by the hurricane. Amy, being that she was very very far ahead of us, had no idea. Luckily, JD was in the back and stayed behind with us once the kayak was completely submerged. There was no drain hole on this kayak, therefore it was very difficult to lift it up out of the water as I’m sure you can imagine. JD had no idea what steps to take during the occurrence, therefore Michael had to step in and take charge of the situation by directing JD (who had shoes on) to walk over to the dock and assist Michael in lifting it up to get the water out. JD continuously tried to call for Amy’s help on the walkie talkie. Amy had kept going along with the rest of the group, while myself, Michael, JD, and another member of the group (she shared a boat with JD), were stuck where we were. All I know about the location of where this happened aside from the severely damaged dock, is that we were next to the Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium. The water was about waist level where this occurred and because it was late, it was very cold. During the incident, my phone was lost. JD and Michael had to walk the sunken boat over to the dock and Michael got several deep lacerations on his feet which required medical attention and a tetanus shot. Please see the attached documentation. Amy, who did not respond to any of JD’s calls on the walkie talkie during this entire disaster of an experience, had the audacity to approach us after we walked back to the parking lot from where we managed to dock the two boats. She said, and I quote: “There are my lost sailors. You two had a good time up until that happened, right?” It appears she was more concerned with reviews and a tip rather than if we were ok. Not only was I personally pretty shaken up, Michael - who is a combat veteran that struggles with PTSD - has some pretty serious lacerations on his feet.
