It was a great trip! Our... - It was a great trip! Our guide Nick was very involved, shared a lot of stories and took us to various places off the beaten track. The places we visited were well worth the time, effort and money. Port Arthur is a vast place with lots of history in it, best enjoyed in sunny weather. The scenery is stunning. The boat cruise is nice if short. The detour via Richmond is ok but too short and happens too late to be able to do anything in the town other than walk. I would still highly recommend it.

Port Arthur, Richmond Active Day tour with Ian - We were blessed with beautiful blue skies for my day to Port Arthur. Ian, our driver & guide for the day made the history of the area come alive. I learnt much about the whole area and was quite amazed to discover that the actual geography of the Port Arthur site created its own ‘prison’ walls. Thanks to Ian’s knowledge, I was able to navigate Port Arthur itself without feeling rushed. Our ‘active’ part of the tour, was a wonderful walk through some spectacular native bush. Richmond, with the convict built oldest bridge, looked a dear little town to fossick in, but late in a Monday meant that many little shops were closed.

Good way to see some really sites/parts of Tasmania - A good day out, the coastal walk at the start provided some breathtaking views. We had plenty of time to explore Port Arthur at our own pace - there are lots of interesting things to see. The stop in Richmond was a good finish with a tasty ice cream. A long day with an early start, but it was well worth it.

Great Guide - Our guide Nicholas was a wealth of historical information. On the way there Nick did a great job of providing background information that made our time at the site more interesting. The walk along the Tasman Peninsula was my favorite part. Beautiful!

Great day out in Tasman Peninsula - Had a great day touring the Tasman Peninsula guided by Trevor who regaled us with interesting facts of history and local culture. Loved the cliff walk seeing Devils Kitchen and Tasman Arch. Spectacular scenery. Visit to Port Arthur and seeing Tassie Devils in action was great. A full day but would recommend.
