Great day - Good commentary and bus driver and although it was a very cold when you got up there, it was the experience and seeing the snow up there was great to see. Bus driver to Richmond Village was awesome and she was lovely and informative. High recommend the village and the cheese factory.

Highly Recommend! - Today we played tourist. Jumped on a bus tour with #explorerbus to Mt Wellington. "Max temp of 3° today folks!" Old mate was right on track with his temps. We froze like chicken drummies in the freezer at the top but boy was the views worth it. Our driver David has a wealth of knowledge and took the stress of driving off my hands. Highly recommend taking the bus up the range, could truly enjoy the experience with them driving! Made our way back to the city, grabbed a quick lunch then back onto another bus with #exlporerbus and headed to Richmond. Another awesome Driver, Tony, who was very informative and a joy to travel with. There we toured the Richmond Goal, Australia's first Male and Female Goal, with some amazing history and creepy vibes. We also found the traditional lolly shop, the bakery, and the minuture Old Hobart Town replica. Definitely worth the money and time. Seen so much more in the comfort of the buses also!

The Real Beauty Is Always Looking To The Little Things Close And Near To You, Honouring The Now and Respecting The Past - It was a heavily misted morning with a decent breeze blowing on top of Mt Wellington. I have limited mobility and frequently need a small fold up wheelchair, so I did walk staying close to the bus (kept the chair dry from the mist). The morning Driver on Sat 25th Was So Helpful. You Don't need clear skies, as nice as that would have been. What I saw blew my mind - the changing trees and growth as we drove higher, and at the top? It was just incredible! All the rocks, lichen, puddles, plants and grasses with their colours being constantly changed by the mist will stay with me forever. The Richmond Village Shuttle was the achievement of a personal dream. The Bridge Anniversary is happening as I type this. To have seen it in all it's natural beauty, the Churches and boutique shops left me nothing to be desired, albeit happily staying on board, warm and dry. The wheelchair use was made easy with a neat lift. With clearing weather and Awesome Driver Guide Jason, I chose to go to Wicked Cheese. I left there with a goody bag of goat and dairy free cheeses and some Prickly Box honey plus one of their yummy cheese and salad platters, the latter which I enjoyed that evening. A wonderful day, meeting happy incredible people from all-over with one intent = enjoying a day with very knowledgeable, understanding and caring drivers. The memories of this day on these 2 Shuttles I will relive and always enjoy daily in so many ways and not least, all the photos I managed to take and some very special ones taken for me by Jason. Thank You Jason especially for helping me achieve my Tasmanian dream and hold it close, In Spades, Forever

Mt. Wellington is Amazing - The trip to Mt. Wellington was amazing with spectacular views and many trails getting you into nature. The trip to Richmond needs no more than an hour unless you enjoy going in and out of small shops. The bridge and Catholic Church is worth a view. The shuttle company can drop you off at a nearby winery after an hour in Richmond if you enjoy wine tasting and then pick you back up at the winery on there return trip to Hobart.

Mountain View was amazing. Second half just ok. - I did not realize that this tour was two hop on, hop off bus rides. I kept trying to contact the tour operator and never got any response. However, the tour up to Mt. Wellington was quite good. Tony, the bus driver and guide, was interesting and entertaining. The views from the top were amazing. He also found (and took pictures for us ) a black tiger snake and well as an echidna on the side of the road. In the afternoon, the bus was much smaller an uncomfortable. We went to the town of Richmond,, but we did not need 2.5 hours to cover it. The driver took the 2 of us to a cheese store a little ways away. He offered it to everyone, but we were the only ones to take him up on it. Even with that we still sat in the bus for 45 minutes.

Communication Hiccups - Our experience with the this shuttle tour fell short. Missed the second tour to Richmond due to a communication lapse about changing buses. The Mt. Wellington tour though was great, but the lack of clarity affected the overall experience negatively. Better communication needed for a smoother tour next time.
