- Cascades Female Factory Historic Site - View the exterior of Australia’s most significant historical sites for women, the Female Factory was the female equivalent of Port Arthur and was used to hold both women and children throughout the 1820’s. It was a terrible place with only the most basic of facilities. Some ruins of the original building and walls still exist. Your driver guide will provide a brief history of this fascinating place.
