Great overview of Hobart - Great overview of the City of Hobart. The tour provided lots of interesting information about the history and development of Hobart. We enjoyed the botanical gardens and the walk around the wharf.

Highly Recommended - We had the pleasure of having Tony as our hop-on-hop-off bus driver in Hobart, and he made our day absolutely wonderful! From the moment we boarded, Tony was not only friendly but incredibly informative, providing us with fascinating insights about the city's history, landmarks, and hidden gems. His warm personality and genuine enthusiasm made the entire experience enjoyable and memorable. If you're visiting Hobart, we highly recommend hopping on with Tony—it will truly enhance your day! P.S Tony if you read this I’m currently reading The Tin Ticket !!! Loving it so far, thankyou

Hobart overview - Good trip around town. Comes every 30 minutes, so we did the whole trip first, then got out at a few places before having to return to the ship. Make sure you shake your pamphlet to stop the bus. I had my pamphlet and wrist bad out, but he didn't slow down until I shook it in the air.

Great Bus Tour of Hobart - You can catch the tour at any of their 20 stops. We got on at M near our hotel then walked from A (Info Center) back to our DoubleTree Hilton. We completed 1.5 circuits. Plenty of good seating. Weather was great. From A we walked to Mures Upper Deck for a delicious lunch.

See Hobart from a double decker bus! - Started at the visitor center, a couple blocks from the cruise terminal. Seemed disorganized at first, no queue signs or departure information given, but once onboard, all was well. Driver had good information in addition to narration and was helpful. Did a full round before hopping off to visit a bakery then a brewery. Great for first time visitors!

Better than most HOHO - Very full bus. Commentary was generally very good. They don't use the individual headsets like most HOHO. They broadcast in English over the speaker. Small city, so entire loop took 60 minutes.

not bad, not bad. Give it a go. It's pretty convenient. - Hop on and Hop Off is a great way to see the city. I would recommend researching the spots before the tour so you know which stops are worth jumping off. We enjoyed the botanical gardens. Make sure you go early if you want to sit down below. We went on a day when it was quite chilly and were forced to sit on the top decker freezing our butts and faces off. They might have some other buses where the top part is shielded towards the front, but the one we were on was not. They do have commentary that should be translated in different languages, you need to ask the bus driver for earphones. I think we tried to use them but did not work quite as well as I was hoping.

Use tax unless you like waiting - Disappointed that there were only two buses operating. When drivers had their break we had to get off and wait 30 minutes to resume the ride. For 2 people over 2 days it would have been cheaper to get taxis to the places you wanted to go instead of wasting time waiting for the bus. Of the 20 stops there’s only a handful that you would want to get off for.

Gives a great Hobart summation - Got to see Hobart as planned, but unfortunately our bus helped out another broken down one, so it delayed us on the route. Enjoyed the views and narration. Most likely would do it again.
