Relaxing and Fun - It's a lovely relaxing trip. The captain was very informative and also amusing and entertaining. The scenery is beautiful and going under the bridge was cool. It's only an hours trip and its a really nice way to see a bit of Hobart from the water.

Great evening cruise - This was a great way to see Hobart harbour. We also got to go under the Tasman Bridge. The Captains commentary was excellent. The food was very tasty and the free drink even included a Canadian Club whisky if you wanted it. All in all a really enjoyable night.

A lovely river; a complete whitewash of Aboriginal history. - The trip northwards on the Emmalisa was calm and lovely. The commentary was informative for those only interested in post colonial history. My sister and I were amazed that there was not a mention of the original inhabitants of the area. I approached the skipper/commentator at the end of the tour and asked why he did not mention the Aboriginal people at all, including the new name of My Wellington ie Kunanyi. His response was aggressively racist. He stated that Kunanyi was a made up name (I know it is not the original name) and that he didn't mention Aboriginal people because he disliked them. For a tourist attraction in Hobart, this is a disgrace. Surely historical facts should take precedence over the views of an individual.
