Highlights
  • Buffalo Cave - The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and includes learning about rice cultivation and planting, as well as fishing using a unique tool called the “nom.”

A local guide will introduce the various stages of rice cultivation, explaining the entire cycle from beginning to end. To gain a deeper understanding, participants will don traditional farming attire and head into the fields.

In addition to the activities in the pond, our guide will share stories about the local culture of Vietnamese farmers.

Detailed itinerary:
08:30: Arrive at Buffalo Cave to meet the group and begin the journey.
09:00 – 09:30: Feed, shower, and ride the buffalo.
09:30 – 10:00: Catch fish with the locals.
10:00 – 10:30: Plant Vietnamese rice with the locals.
10:30 – 11:00: Bathe in the waterfall and visit Buffalo Cave.

The afternoon tour starts at 14:00 and ends at 15:30.

Buffalo Cave is 2km from Tam Coc wharf. It is on the way from Tam Coc to Bich Dong pagoda. You can find our signboard next to Thung Nham parking station. You can ride a bike or grab a taxi to us easily.
