Peaceful Notre Dame in 1959. In 1962, the Vatican conferred the Cathedral status as a basilica and gave it the official name of Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica. Measuring almost 60 metres in height, the cathedral’s distinctive neo-Romanesque features include the all-red brick façade (which were imported from Marseille), stained glass windows, two bell towers containing six bronze bells that still ring to this day, and a peaceful garden setting in the middle of downtown Ho Chi Minh City District 1.

Outstanding Tour of Saigon with Ms. Anna - Ms. Anna was an excellent tour guide. She is very knowledgeable about the history of Saigon. She kept our tour schedule on time and had plenty of shopping time before heading back to the ship. She is patient and kind-hearted with my family. We felt very safe with her guiding us around the multiple historical sites of Saigon. I would highly recommend Ms. Anna for anyone who is visiting Vietnam.

Highlight of My Vietnam Trip! - This tour with Emmie and Luc was the highlight of my trip to Vietnam! Emmie and Luc picked us up at the cruise port and was waiting for us before we docked. Emmie was very friendly and did an amazing job sharing the history and information of every stop. She also catered to our party's interest taking us to local spots such as a coffee shop and restaurants that we wouldn't have been able to find without her. Luc was also friendly and a great driver navigating us through Ho Chi Minh City. They also made sure we arrived back at the port in time for our departure. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City!

Excellent Tour of Saigon with Ms. Anna - Ms. Anna was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Saigon. She is very friendly and would start her lectures with "My Family" that made us feel that she was one of our family and not on a tour guide. She is a kind-hearted person who kept my family of 14 feel safe. She kept the tour schedule on time and had plenty of shopping time at the end of the tour. She also picked a fantastic restaurant to have lunch. The food was excellent. My family enjoyed our lunch. I would highly recommend Ms. Anna for anyone who is visiting Vietnam. She is a GREAT guide to share her experiences of growing up and the history of Vietnam, especially Saigon.

wonderful day tour in Ho Chi Minh - We disembarked from the cruise and followed Helen on a day trip in Ho Chi Minh City. Our guide Helen is very amiable and always smiles, explaining the history of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City and introducing local life and cuisine. The day passed quickly and colorfully and we were happy to have this opportunity and will definitely be back again!

Great tour guide and good for big group! - Anna was a great tour guide. She kept us on schedule and we were able to see all the stops that we wanted to visit. Great dining option for lunch as well! Would recommend for a big group - we had 14 of us and the private bus was great.

Great way to see and learn about Saigon - Our tour on Friday was great. Jasmine, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. Our driver, Ngoc, negotiated the chaotic Saigon traffic with skill and patience. We learnt a lot and would recommend both of them and the itinerary.

Best choice to see the City in a day. - Unable To get a group trip so we booked a private tour- excellent choice. Quinn our guide was waiting for us and kept us well informed throughout the day. Eggs coffee in a delightful location and lunch later in the day, seafood crab noodles were included in the cost of the trip. We visited the Central Post Office, Book Street, Palace of Independence, ba Thien Hai Pagoda, a huge bustling market and the War Remnants museum. Quinn accompanied us back to the cruise terminal and there was no worry about being late back. Driver could
Not speak English but Quinn was able to share some of his knowledge with us as well. Quinn was knowledgeable and great company. What a memorable experience on our first ever private tour. Cannot recommend highly enough.
