Vinh Trang Temple - Begin the day with an early hotel pick-up around 07:30 AM and head to My Tho. Enjoy engaging in local activities and admire the beautiful scenery of lush paddy fields along the way. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest pagoda in the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival in My Tho, embark on a boat trip along the Mekong River. During the journey, observe fish cages and floating houses, which are iconic to the local lifestyle.

The boat will navigate through a coconut tree canal leading to a coconut island in Ben Tre. Disembark for a short village walk. Visit a local family to savor tropical fruits, taste honey tea and honey wine, and enjoy traditional Vietnamese music performed by the villagers.

Continue strolling along the village road to explore coconut candy shops, sample the candies, and view handicrafts made from coconut trees. After lunch, proceed to Can Tho, the heart of the Mekong River, on a 2-hour drive.

Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Chau Doc (B/L/D)

Cai Rang Floating Market - After breakfast, embark on a boat trip to explore the scenic tributaries of the Mekong River. The boat will then take you to Cai Rang Floating Market, the most authentic and lively market in the region. Have you ever tried Vietnamese vermicelli noodles? Here, you can see how they are made.

Afterward, trek through the village to interact with the locals. You’ll have the opportunity to see the Monkey Bridge, constructed from a single bamboo. Return to the riverside for lunch. After lunch, drive to Chau Doc, stopping at Long Xuyen to visit a crocodile farm if time permits.

Chau Doc – Tra Su Cajuput Forest – HCM City (B/L)

Tra Su Bird Sanctuary - After an early breakfast, visit a Cham ethnic village featuring a Muslim mosque and towel weaving. Continue to Chua Xu Lady Temple at Sam Mountain, one of Vietnam’s holiest sites, where Vietnamese people make annual pilgrimages. According to legend, she brings luck, health, and happiness to those who pay their respects.

Depart the temple for Tra Su Cajuput Forest, known for its pristine natural beauty and as a sanctuary for flora and fauna. Take a boat trip into the forest and immerse yourself in nature. The captivating views of cajuputs, the floral fragrances, and the melodic sounds of birds, insects, and animals will make you reluctant to leave. From the observation post, the forest spans nearly 900 hectares and is home to many birds and animals, including some rare species. Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant.

After lunch, bid farewell to the Mekong Delta and return to Ho Chi Minh City.
