Cai Be Floating Market - Upon reaching Cai Be, embark on a cruise along the Tien River to explore the remnants of the once-renowned wholesale floating market. Relax on the boat as the tour guide shares captivating tales of Cai Be’s lively history.
Then, proceed to Tan Phong Island, where you’ll visit local workshops to observe the making of rice paper, coconut candy, puffed rice, and popcorn, and enjoy Don Ca Tai Tu – traditional Southern folk music.
In the craft village, discover how local specialties such as fish sauce, soy sauce, and cooking salt are crafted. You’ll also have the opportunity to make Bánh Xèo (Vietnamese pancake) and savor a delightful lunch served under the shade of fruit orchards at a local home on the island.
After lunch, enjoy a rowing boat ride through narrow canals, passing traditional houses made of wood and palm leaves.
